This futon is better than expected by far, the different arm adjustments and back adjustments are super easy, and they are very stable and not flimsy at all. While this futon is extremely easy to assemble and fits well in a small space, it isn't very comfortable. The padding is thin so isn't soft to sit or sleep on. It does lay flat so that is a positive. It works for what we need it for. It's not luxury.

For the price, it's a good futon. Tends to lean forward when used as a sofa. Be warned, when used as a bed, the metal mechanism that allows for the different uses, is hard. This is the bruise on my leg, behind my knee, from sleeping on the metal that holds the futon together. Get a pillow, or place blankets on the futon before using it as a sleep sofa. ... show more

Can you sit on this thing for hours? Probably not. But it's quite comfortable to lay on. I've actually slept the night on it. I love the adjustable arms, the fully adjustable back. For the price, I am very happy with it. It's in my home office so I use it to watch occasional TV or to take naps.
