  • Great customer service
Great customer service the first one I ordered was broken in the box I contacted them about it they shipped a new plane right away when I got it my grandson and I went out and flew the new one fly with NO wind read how to make adjustments before you start to try and fly . Takes a little bit to learn to back off the power to make it turn easy other than that it flies really easy if you read the instructions it does take a little bit more to fly taking it off the ground about 15 ft but hand launching is really easy ... show more

  • This is a great mature toy that appeals to kid in us.
Gave to my 13 yr old neighbor, and he had hours of fun getting more and more profecient with flying the drone. Quite sturdy for a lightweight object.

  • Very heavy and not aerodynamic at all
While the product looks good on paper it is more suited to be a table top show piece.

  • Works Great When Used Properly
I want to begin by saying that this is actually the second glider of this particular model that we have purchased, and we learned a lot from the first one. First off, I have to say that these actually do fly surprisingly well considering they aren't very expensive when compared to real model planes. The most important thing to remember is that you have enough room to fly this, don't try it in your backyard unless it is very large and free of taller obstacles. This is a plane not a drone and actually closer to a glider, so it doesn't float, hover, or otherwise wait for you to respond - you launch it, and it goes so be ready! Our first flight of the first one was in the backyard, and we quickly learned that we needed more space, so we went out front to the street. For us, we live in a very small town with a VERY quiet street, so we had no problems with traffic, but we do have trees set back on each side. My oldest son (27) took it for a flight down the street and it went very well, he then turned it and flew it right back to the house - and promptly into a tree. We then spent the next half hour using a football to eventually knock it out of the tree; it survived all of this and lived to fly again. After much use and practice we got it tolerably figured out but unfortunately, we eventually cracked the fuselage right in front of the tail section. It wasn't fully broke, so I formed a lightweight splint for it and we still use the plane. When I saw this one it was a for sure grab for me because they are a lot of fun. Another thing to keep in mind is that because it's very lightweight you can't fly it in windy conditions because it just won't work right. As far as the controls, they are crisp and responsive, and the batteries give you about 10 to 15 minutes flight time depending on different variables. Overall, I do like this plane/glider and as long as you realize the points I mentioned, I think you will enjoy it as well. ... show more

  • Fly in ZERO wind
This is not an RC Plane, it's a glider with propellers. As others have said, it's extremely light weight, so it is not well suited for flying in the wind. There are no flaps on this glider, so you are at the mercy of your propellers. The way it works is the more power you give the propellers the faster it goes, but if you turn left or right, it gives more power to one propeller over the other. It's not very nimble, so don't expect to do any sweet tricks. To have the most fun with this, I suggest finding a nice open field with zero obstructions on a dead calm day. Overall it looks pretty cool, and it is possible to land on flat ground, but I wouldn't fly over concrete as that is just asking for trouble. But for the price, it's a pretty fun toy to play around with, just make sure to set your expectations accordingly. ... show more

  • Decent 2.4GHz RC Airplane for Adult and Kids
This is a fun and relatively easy to fly RC plane. The radio has two channels, one for throttle and the other for directional control. To take off and climb, simply push the throttle stick forward. While applying the throttle, move the directional stick side to side to change direction. It's important to remember that the plane can only be turned while applying throttle as the changes in speed between the right and left motors is what causes the plane to turn. Without throttle, or once the battery runs out, there is no way to change the direction of the plane. There is a learning curve getting the controls figured out, but once mastered the plane is fun to fly as long as it isn't too windy. Two rechargeable batteries are included, so one can be plugged in to charge via the included USB cable while the other is used to fly the plane. The plane is very light weight, yet surprisingly durable. There are a pair of spare propellers and a detachable landing gear included which should provide many hours of flying fun. ... show more

  • Yes, it flies, and it's honestly fun
The media could not be loaded. I went into this maiden flight session expecting this little dragon to crash, but it honestly held its own, even in some breeze! It's rugged and made of pretty stiff-yet-flexible foam, and survived a hard nose-dive into a tree later that day with no noticeable damage. I tested it during my weekend RC plane flight session, so all the old dudes were wondering if it would actually work. All of us were pleasantly surprised. I think it's a brilliant little toy for people wanting to learn how to fly RC planes. There are no flaps or servos: the wings are designed for a lot of lift so it goes higher with more thrust, and it turns by putting more power to one side of the wing or the other. It's brilliantly simple, and honestly kinda charming. I tested mine in some breeze; I would not recommend doing so, it can't handle more than 5mph. In the video, you can see it struggling. It's a good toy for a calm day or large gymnasium. It's not as agile as a toy with flaps and servos, but it still turns well. I was able to get it to take off from the ground, though this was probably because it was pointing into the breeze. Pros: -simple -rugged -fun and good for beginners Cons: -not a long range -can only fly in calm air Overall: -This is a genuinely charming little toy that exceeded everyone's expectations, I'm keeping mine and saving it for calm days. _____________________________ My rating system: 5 Stars: Blew my mind, excellent. 4 Stars: Really good. 3 Stars: Average, nothing to write home about. 2 Stars: It has some problems. 1 Star: I don't like it and wouldn't get it. ... show more
