Got the black, 10'x20', and I'm very impressed with the quality at this price point. It's really just as good and very similar to the much more expensive backdrops I have in my studio. The back is sort of a reflective nylon and the front has a much more matt, fleece-type texture. I don't know what the people complaining received, but I'm fully satisfied and will probably order a white one soon. Update: bought the white and black 5x7 for headshots... It's the same high quality material for both pieces of fabric. Indeed, there are two separate pieces sewn together at the rod pocket. I got the black/white for two reasons: the white (and even the black) is not terribly thick (which makes it less bulky and heavy, so not really a terrible thing) so it's not %100 opaque with backlighting. The black backing prevents anything from showing through. Secondly, for an extra $9 I basically got two backdrops for a steal. Don't be cheap, buy this one and happy shooting!

A high quality 10x20 Photography Background would cost $300 or $350 easily, not $40. This is not a muslin background. It's probably rayon or a rayon polyester blend of some sort. It's a wonderful purchase for the price. I bought the white, black and brown 10x20 backgrounds as extensions for my canvas and vinyl backgrounds so that I could photograph larger groups. I added grommets to the 20 foot sides and hung them that way behind my Master Canvas backdrop and in front of my white and black vinyl backdrops. They work just fine for my purposes. As for ironing out the folds, I found it easier to hang them first and then steam the wrinkles and folds out of them. I'm pretty sure they will smooth out more the longer they hang. With lighting and good placement, there should be a minimal amount of retouching later. I always retouch anyway and oftentimes add textures to my background in post production to ensure the background enhances the image rather than take away focus from my subjects. All in all, it's fine product for the cost.

Quick backstory: My wife is a professional Actress and she previously had been using some thin Green linen sheet for those projects that require a Chromakey background. I hated it. It was bulky, wrinkled easily and was a mess to hang. This backdrop is great! It provides a nice even color which makes it easy to block out, is wrinkle-resistant and with that stitched-in sleeve is easy to slide in a pole to hang. Strongly recommend.

I purchased this as my first green screen for video game streaming. Overall the it actually works very well. The quality of image depends most entirely on your other equipment (camera, computer, software) and the execution looks great. Cleaning is easy, just put it in a washing machine (if you have access to one). The instructions say NOT to tumble dry which unfortunately for me left the wrinkles in place from shipping. This item only gets 4 starts because even by following the recommended ironing settings, NONE of the wrinkle folds came out. I purchased a second larger sheet and will probably try cleaning and drying on low heat this one. BUT even with the folds, it did not interfere with my videos, so It may not even matter that they are there. Either way, I highly recommend this green screen for anyone on a budget who already has the other necessary equipment (stands, etc.) .

This has a sheen side and a mat side. the mat side makes my photos and videos pitch black in the background. Nothing, no light or anything comes through the back. It's large enough to lay on the floor and it's perfect even with reasonably wide shots. It is folded out of the package. dah so yes, it has lines. I sprayed some fine mist of water after hanging and most of the lines went away. It's actually a nice material. It's huge, so need two people to fold, so fold it twice and then roll it, no wrinkles. good product

This background has nothing to do with the description, besides the fact it's made of polyester and is white. The same is true for a cheap sheet. It's not suitable for photography, because it is not opaque - as you can see on my video and picture, I can se clearly the pattern of my iron board through the fabric. It is also easily scratched, the quality is low, so it will not last long. It took me almost 2 hours to iron 6x9' piece and it is still not really flat. Besides that, it is very easily wrinkled, so unless you have an iron at the set, the moment you move the backdrop, it will be already wrinkled. Search for something better, if you need a solid opaque white background, that is not easily wrkled. This one is not worth the money and it's almost unusable, unless you fold it in two at least.

Works great for zoom. A bit shiny but not a problem that I could see. I needed to fill an entire background and I wanted it as far back behind me as I could get it so it didn't cast that green screen glow on the back of my head and it doesn't. I bought a big one (10x20) and doubled it over a cable that I stretched across the room. It works like a curtain. My real background is the same as the virtual background that I'm using. The reason I do that is that the lighting changes in the room and in the evenings, the "real background" is super dark. I also wanted to screen off the back half of the room so my wife could walk behind it into the guest room if need be. Here's how it looked in zoom for me.
