I researched a ton of different sculpting tool kits knowing that I wanted a large variety of sturdy tools with a great case to keep them in. Unfortunately it's tough to know what your getting until you actually see it. There are so many of these kits and the ones that had good reputations all came without cases. This one looked like a good set so I went with it for the price. The case does not disappoint although the space that contains the ball head tools doesn't really hold them well. It needs more individual loops to hold tools. In retrospect the roll out case would've probably been better. The wood tools feel cheap but I'm sure they will work. The ball heads and smoothing tools have sturdy builds and feel wonderful. Too bad the wooden tools aren't quite there. And the black plastic tools, while useful, feel like plastic utensils to me. I would have just left them out rather than using such cheap stuff. In summary, as a beginner to poly clay sculpting this set delivers and is definitely worth it. I would give it 4 stars if the wood tools didn't make up so much of the set. If I could do half stars I would have gone with 3.5. My suggestion is to buy a really nice set without the case and just buy a roll out case. I plan to replace the wood tools with better ones and use the case that came with these. I'll update once I have more time to see how they stand up to use.
