I purchased these for use during multiple different situations. Mowing (lawn tractor), trimming and leaf blowing sounds were all amazingly lessened with these. I was actually surprised at how well they isolated my ears from outside noise. I can honestly say that these were on par with a pair of shooting ear pro (muff style) that I have used religiously. I also used the earphones for recreational wood shop work with the exact same results. The key is to getting a nice, tight seal with the compressible inserts. Noise isolation is GREAT! I was skeptical about the sound quality for such a relatively mid-range priced product. I was pleasantly surprised with the highs and lows that these can produce. Understand that these are not audiophile quality earphones, but that they do a really good job of providing full spectrum tunes while blocking outside noise. Music sampled included everything from classical and jazz to alternative and electronic. Battery life, so far, has also been more than adequate. Almost five hours of constant wear/use, and no problems. Charge time is relatively fast as well. Comfort is outstanding. Lightweight, and no pressure on the inside of my ear, or around the top/back from the wiring. Honestly forgot they were on! Usability while being active is superb as well. The only time one came loose is when the cord got snagged by a bush branch, and even then did not come out completely. My one complaint is that the Bluetooth is a little disappointing in that you really can't stray more than 5-7' from these without having an interruption. Really not that big of a deal though, as most of the time I have my phone in my pocket or easily close-by. Haven't tried the phone/voice aspect of them yet, so I cannot comment on that performance. Overall, I would definitely purchase these again. Perfect design, great sound, comfortable...they do what they were designed to do, WELL.

I've used these for a week, now, and I'm very happy with them. I wanted something wireless that would also protect my hearing as I do lawn maintenance/irrigation work for a camp this summer. Reading other reviews, I was concerned that sound quality might not be very good. I've been pleasantly surprised, though, by how good these sound. When they are fully inserted in my ear, I get clear, quality sound with deep bass. I am not an audiophile, so take this as a layman's perspective, but I'm very happy with the sound. You do need them fully inserted to hear clearly, though. At first this took a little effort. I tried a different size of the foam tip inserts (invluded) that fits my ears better. After using them for a few days, I got used to getting them in and out of my ears quickly without any problem. They pair easily with my phone/laptop and stay connected unless I turn them off. I've yet to use them with heavy machinery; however, I drive an old diesel 3500 around all day, and I can definitely tell the noise is greatly reduced and my music sounds good.

Edit: Customer service sent me a new pair when I contacted them. Moreso, a new version is apparently coming out which should have better adhesive so hopefully this solves the main problem and makes these usable. I worked around the comfort issues by heating up the cables to properly hang on my ear, and by using moldable earplugs to house the earbuds. Hopefully they are naturally comfortable for you. My work requires we wear OSHA compliant hearing protection, and this is one of the few options with audio that they allow. First, the right earbud became so quiet I can barely hear it in a silent room about a month after getting these. Then, they are extraordinarily uncomfortable. The ear loops abrade my ear, and like to flop in front of my ear instead of staying behind them. The part designed to sit inside your ear does not have the correct shape, so I had to combine them with moldable earplugs to actual get that part comfortable, which exacerbated the other problem. The earplugs themselves are all very low quality, and I had to buy yet another third party plug to get any comfort. They fit horribly, and feel like you are rubbing sandpaper in your ear after a few hours with the foam The silicone likes to get stuck in your ear and provides very little hearing protection, but I had to wear it for the comfort factor. And to top it all off, the button controls are held on by the bare minimum adhesive, and the little buttons that actually actuate the controls are just loose components right inside of that housing, so once it comes loose (mine took less than two months) you completely lose control of the buttons. Since my work allows very few earbuds, many of my coworkers have the same earbuds, and they all have the same problems! One piece of advice, if you catch the buttons falling off, you can save the little plastic bits inside by supergluing the cover on when it starts to peel off. Once you lose the plastic bits, you are screwed.

Overall, these are worth $100 at all. Bluetooth paring and buttons are great. I used these today while mowing lawns and they were absolutely terrible. I can barely hear any music whatsoever when the mowers running. My Apple AirPods were better and that’s the only reason I bought these were for the lower price. You can get a pair of Skullcandy headphones for $20 and they would most likely beat it. I’m returning these and spending the money to get AirPods again. These are ridiculous.
