I put this on and took a nap an hour later on my white sheets and had zero transfer! The medium color gives me a light tan that looks like I went to the beach over the weekend. I’m interested to try the dark for a deeper tan and will update if/when I try the dark. I use a sugar scrub in the shower right before I apply and I think the oils from the scrub make the dry spots like elbows hands and feet blend easily without having to apply lotion before applying the tanner. I have only self tanned 2x in my life over the last 10 years so I’m definitely a novice and it was still easy to apply with the clear color. Will definitely be buying more when I get through this bottle. Update: I got the Dark color and slept in it and it’s darker but not too dark. Still no transfer on my sheets! I’m not sure which color I like better. I might use the dark more frequently and just rinse it sooner when I want a lighter color and sleep in it when I want it darkest.

Over the last week I’ve compared 3 products (Isle of Paradise, St Tropez, and Coco & Eve). Isle of Paradise was the clear winner for me. It gave me the most noticeable (yet still natural-looking) tan and was not streaky or smelly. This was my first time self-tanning and even without the color guard it was pretty easy (just make sure to go easy on the feet & ankles). Plus without the color guard I don’t have to worry about staining my clothes. I’m an Isle of Paradise stan from here on out!

This was my first time in a long time trying self tanner. I was nervous going in but overall it worked great and gave a good soft glow. I just wish there had been more instructions to avoid causing splotches. In hindsight, I would recommend not using it on your face the first time since it made my face a lot darker than my body. I also wish I didn't put my socks on so soon after but was unsure how long to leave it. I also did not love how strongly I smelled it for the next full day, But, no matter what, it did it's job well.

I was a little nervous based on reviews I read. I am very faired skinned and have to be careful with streaks. I put on one coat with my tanning mitt last night and today I have the perfect even tan on my legs. Absolutely no streaks or weird orange color that some people have commented. Of course you always have to be careful during application to make sure all areas are covered evenly, which is the case with any self tanner. I had no issues and my tan is even and natural. I highly recommend this product!

This gave me a great color but it goes on clear, which makes it extremely hard to apply evenly. I wish it had a slight tint when applying so I could tell if I had missed any spots. Overall a good product but not easy to use.

I had high hopes for this self-tanner, but it was a major disappointment. The clear formula sounds great in theory, but in practice, it makes application a guessing game—since there’s no color guide, it’s hard to tell where you’ve already applied, leading to streaks and patchy spots. The texture is another issue. It feels sticky for hours, even after drying, and transfers onto clothes and sheets. And when it fades? It’s blotchy and uneven, leaving my skin looking dirty rather than glowing. For the price, I expected something more foolproof. There are better self-tanners out there that don’t require this much effort. Definitely not worth repurchasing!

This is the best most natural self tanner I have used. Application is easy. You do have to be careful to spread it on good since it goes on clear. It has absolutely no odor which is great. It does not transfer to your clothes. I recommend using a scrub then a moisturizer before applying.

I’ve been using self tanner for 20+yrs. This is by far THE BEST! The smell is so nice, no streaking, and with some lotion after showers lasts 5-7 days!! Super impressed, this will be my recommended brand from now on!
