  • You have no idea how fast 30mph is
Style: V10-3000W
(From the husband): OMG OMG OMG. I absolutely LOVE this board. I've averaged 14 miles per day since it was delivered, and I live less than 2 miles from everywhere I need to be - that's just how much I love riding it. I genuinely hate driving now because I just want to be on my board. Build quality is solid. I've been pretty aggressive with it already offroad and on some mountain bike trails, and this board is a beast. Literally the ONLY part that I can imagine breaking is the remote, and it's already survived a gnarly bail without a scratch. Worst case scenario, it's a $40 replacement. The board is FAST, and TBH, it's too fast for the stock setup. The double kingpin trucks are super fun for carving, but they're really unstable at high speeds. If you tighten the bushings you'll get some extra stability up to about 20mph, but if you just pull it out of the box and ride you'll get some nasty speed wobble at 16mph and you WILL fall. For a board that can go double that, I can't imagine staying on the board anywhere close to top speed without swapping out the trucks to something like a surf and rail. But again, I'm being really picky here considering that one of the most popular boards on the market has the exact same motors, doesn't hit the same speeds, doesn't have the double kingpins or honeycomb tires, and literally costs twice as much (I'm looking at you, GTR). A positive note about the instability - it's incredibly exciting. Don't get me wrong, a fall at 16-18mph will bust your knees and elbows, but it FEELS like you're tempting death itself. It's just FUN. If you're thinking about getting a board, just get this one. It's better than any I've ever ridden and it's genuinely underpriced. Also, wear a helmet every time. This board is powerful enough that you really need it. ... show more

  • So far, so good.
Arrived just before I left to work today. Grabbed it from the box with the remote and threw it in my car and headed to work so I could test it out on my lunch break. It came somewhat pre-charged but not even close to full. But it was 2 bars so figured I'd give it a try. I managed to get up to 25mph before it wouldn't climb any further speed (speed mode 4), so not sure if it's because the road had a slight incline or because the battery power wasn't high enough for top speed of 32mph. I'm home and it's charging so I'll try it again in a couple of hours and update as/if needed. Will be using it to take my dog for a slow 2mile walk, so curious how the battery life lasts. If it's particularly impressive or disappointing, I'll update review to mention that. I will say, I saw a review which had claimed the remote felt cheap. I agree. It LOOKS perfectly nice, but it does feel like if I dropped it, it'd break into 2 pieces. I would like to see a remote with thicker, higher quality plastic; or even a rubber protection case similar to phone cases, but i think changing the physical specifications of the build of the remote would be more cost-effective long term and pair better with the board. The board itself feels VERY high quality and durable, as does the battery. That said, the board is quite heavy. It's easily the weight of 2 probably 3 normal longboards. So I wouldn't want to ever have it die on me if I was more than a few hundred feet from my car or house. Lol. It is not advised to manually ride the board, as it's stated to potentially result in the electric components to become damaged and cause a fire. So keep that in mind. Overall, so far I've very happy and super eager for the full trial run later tonight. Ill update when/if there's anything I feel needs added/changed/removed from my original review, up to 6 months from the publishing of this review. ... show more

  • Dangerously fun! Use the speed limits!
So far, awesome! Random thoughts after close to 100miles on it: But first.. tighten the trunks a bit, especially before you try speed limit 3 and 4 (18mph and above) It eats loose gravel, grass, asphalt, you name it! Also climbs very steep hills with ease. Rode close to 16 miles on mixed trail and still had battery left. The remote could be beefier and the strap was gone in my first wipe out. easily replaced by a noose in a paracord though. but I want to clue some foam pads around it to protect from other potential falls. Usually ok up to 16mph but above that you may get the death wobbles. I haven't ventured past the occasional 21mph. At a bare minimum, always put on a helmet if you venture past speed limit 1 (12mph), speed limit 2 (up to 18mph) put on the wrist and knee pads, Speed limit 3 and 4, make sure you have a will. Concave shape will feel weird at first but you get used to it. The pattern on top makes the small pieces peel near the edge peel off but not a big deal. Went over small puddles and splashes with no problems. Clean and dry up afterwards and always ensure the charge port is plugged in shut. Very nice carving. Looses speed quickly which is actually nice when you get the wobbles. You won't be able to ride much without power, which is a non-issue because it lasts more than you will be able to ride (who needs more than 18 miles in a go, anyway?) Motor is a bit noisy but not a big deal. Wish there was some bar protecting the motor from impacts. But if you always ride with the motor in the back (standard) hopefully it won't get banged. Looking forward to trying it out at the hard packed sand at the beach... Like others have mentioned, great value compared to similar boards that go for start around 1200. ... show more
