TLDR: i love this rug but it is not a long-term investment first things first: i love this rug!! it was exactly the vibe i was going for when i moved into my first apartment. i get compliments on it all the time, be it in person or if it's in the back of a picture, which i think speaks to how fun this rug is! however, after having it for almost a year now, i think it's time to replace it. the parts of the rug that receive the most traffic (in front of the couch, mostly) have worn down and matted, and no amount of vacuuming and turning the rug frequently has seemed to help. similarly, vacuuming this rug is annoying LOL but that one comes with the territory of a fluffy shag rug. the only other downside has been that the rug lifts a lot and bunches up in random spots. like i swear i will not have moved and all the sudden the rug is all messed up under the coffee table or on one side. all that is to say, i am very sad to be replacing this rug. i have plans to attempt a rejuvenation, but i'm not holding out much hope. you will be greatly missed, funky green rug </3 ... show more

I bought a “used” cream rug for a great price. By now I know that used just means it was returned. I also know I can return it if there’s any problems. The rug came and it was perfect. I was surprised at how small the box was, but it turns out the rug was folded and vacuum-sealed. The rug has a nice padded back on it—like a nice padded bath mat. The rug was nice and soft and the shag part was really soft to the touch. The rug didn’t shed (a problem I’ve had with other shag rugs). I’m planning to buy rugs for a few other rooms in the house. However, it sheds a lot, especially in the beginning, which was a bit of a hassle to clean up. This rug came folded up in a box. It fluffed up immediately after opening. It is a beautiful (light) mauve color and a little slippery to walk on barefooted at first and until you get use to it. It stays in place. Larger than I thought (8 x 10). The rug is a really good deal for the price and how it’s shipped free and compact in a box you can lift and handle by yourself. It would be best with a pad underneath if you want a thicker feel underfoot, but it’s not necessary; soft and flat feeling otherwise.. The yarns are good length for shag type rug. Mauve color is difficult to find anywhere else, so definitely worth the price to me, and very pleased with this purchase. We love it! (Just purchased so do not know about stain resistance or if easy to clean or not. It is a soft feeling rug.) ... show more
