I didn’t have high expectations buying this bottle because I’ve bought similar ones in the past which ended up just being marketing fluff. This one though, it does what it says and it means it! You want your water to stay cold? Count on it. You want it to survive a trip outdoors? Count on it. You want quality materials? Count on it. Leaks? Man, I wish I got this a long time ago. I tried metal water bottles when they first became popular several years ago and really didn't like them. I got into plastic insulated water bottles, like the CamelBak PodiumIce because I liked the lightweight and convenience of being able to simply squeeze/suck to drink yet it was always closed and couldn't spill. But it didn't actually really keep the drink that cold for that long, even with ice. The design/function of those is amazing, and that's right around the same price for the same size. Now, I don't know if the original metal water bottles were like this, or they've just come a long way, or a mix of both, but I had no idea how cold metal water bottles kept a drink (haven't tried hot drinks yet). It's truly amazing. Even when you leave the bottle in beaming heat all day. It stays ice cold the entire time I have it filled, which can be 24 hours. Originally I avoided metal water bottles, having no idea of their temperature maintaining efficiency, because I didn't like how heavy they were and that I'd need to manually open and close the lid every time. But I quickly learned that, for the benefit of having ice cold water all day from filling up ONE time, I don't mind at all and in fact have come to like the ruggedness of it ... show more

I bought this to take on a 2 week elk hunt. I make my coffee after dinner and put it in a thermos so it's ready to go in the morning. I boiled water and filled this thermos. I used the lid without a spout to seal it. I checked the water 5 hours later and it was so hot I burned my tongue. I checked another 3 hours later and it was still piping hot. 8 hours after filling and still too hot to drink! I am impressed especially given that the wall thickness is not that thick. The metal is a nice heavy gauge without being too heavy. I'm super impressed with this thermos especially for the price. I've had thermoses that cost 3X what these do and they wouldn't keep a drink warm for 3 hours. I highly recommend! ... show more

UPDATE: I ended up also buying the wide mouth 32 oz (color sky). Love them! (White, 64oz) I'm loving it. It's massive but I'd rather have too much water than run out. I've put in fridge cold water around 7pm and then just left it out on a table and then took a drink around 3pm the next day (so around 20 hours) and it was still cold! I just wanted a water bottle that would keep my water cold for like 7 hours and anymore was just a bonus. I'm pretty impressed. I like that is comes with three different spouts to pick from. Make sure you don't put this in the dishwasher or in the freezer though. ... show more

Just received - have not tried yet, but they are Gorgeous! Bought 3 and they are all beautiful colors, they feel smooth but coated so they're not slippery and won't sweat. Thin enough to fit in the cup holder. Comes with multiple tops. Very satisfied- stop looking and buy this one!

Absolutely love this water bottle! The color is fantastic and the thing is super sturdy. I've dropped it, smacked it into a wall, tossed it in a backpack and so for it has shown no damage or wear. Keeps water cold for 24 hours plus and has kept coffee hot from 4am one day until the late evening when I dumped it. Why I bought this was to keep water cold throughout the day and it does an excellent job. I have ice left at 5:30 p.m. when it was filled at 6:30 a.m. I like the different lids. Easy to keep clean overall. Nice colors. Handle is a little hard on the hand when it's full, making it not so ideal to carry on a long hike. That may be my only real complaint. A little tall for a cup holder but I haven't had trouble with it tipping over at my desk at work. Lids are very water tight when closed. Overall I'm very pleased. ... show more

We picked this because of the pop of the color. i knew our daughter would freak out. It is her favorite color. When she opened the first box to see that bright warm amazing purple her eyes got big. She smiled and she was so excited. Then she pulled the bottle out and it was a dull shade lighter than the box and what we really thought it would be.We put the bottle in different lighting and held it close to the box and the online photo and it was clearly a different duller shade. We purchased one for dad in red and the color of the bottles matches online and the color of the box to a T. Perfect. I am assuming we just got the one off that made it out the warehouse a little off color. It does not take away from the performance of the product though. It does keep ice for 24 hours never opened and it keeps ice with water in it for 24 hours never opened. When we tried it out with actually using it with ice and water and drinking from it the ice and water was cold for more than 24 hours. We have yet to use it with hot. ... show more
