So when I bought this I thought it was going to be a total scam. But for the money, I thought to myself, "Self, the science behind this thing seems legit. . . give it a shot." So glad that I did. A bit about me. I am 45 (46 in March), workout 6 days a week (3 days of weight training with trainer and 6 cardio), eat relatively healthy (no fast food, cook at home with whole ingredients, etc. . .), I use supplements like thermogenic and CLK, and am on HRT (testosterone injections and HGH promoting injections. I would consider myself in pretty good shape, especially compared to most my age, but I have a problem with belly fat. I have had a four pack for years and have been frustrated with my inability to lose the belly bulge. So when I came across this, I thought what the hell. After one week's use I have lost almost an inch off of my belly and am down 3 lbs. What I noticed about wearing this belt is that you can actually feel it working. I don't necessarily mean just the heat from the belt (something I'll address in a minute) but I do subscribe to doing cardio before eating breakfast to utilize fat for energy. Before using the belt, I was a bit sluggish toward the end of my 30-45 min elliptical session. Now I seem to have more energy toward the end than I do at the beginning. Could it by in my head, sure it could, but I don' think it is. Now. . . the important stuff. This thing can get HOT! And by hot I mean OUCH! There are no batteries or power source other than your belly. You won't really notice anything for the first 15 mins you're wearing it, but after that, you will start to feel a slight "sunburn" coming on to the point that you feel like your stomach is pressed against a hot stove. I don't get that sensation while wearing it for lifting, but during cardio it gets hot . . . really hot. I have gotten used to it and can make it the whole 30 -45 mins w/o taking it off, but I would recommend to ease into it. Once you take it off, you will feel it continue to "burn" for another hour or so. Showering in hot water or getting in the sauna are not recommended after using. I also wear this under a neoprene sweat "shirt" that I purchased on amazon (http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00LMJAPJ4?redirect=true&ref_=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_38). It does not constrict movement at all. I do crunches, lift, run, elliptical, etc. . . and have never thought, "gosh this things is constricting!" Overall, I think it is a great product. I am hopeful to get back down to the 32" waist that will match what the rest of my body looks like. At this rate, I should make it by my birthday. I'll update as warranted. UPDATE: Well I was wearing this every day while working out - had begun to lose inches (4 to be exact) and then it stopped giving me the burn! I contacted Iron Bull Strength and asked if I was doing something wrong. I got an email back within 15 mins with suggestions on how to correct the situation. I tried for a week to use the suggestion but to no avail. I sent another email asking if there was anything else I could try and the response was, "Nope, it's defective, we're sending you a new one!" Not only did they send me a new one, but they sent me the latest and greatest model. It arrived today and I am going to wear it this weekend and next week for my workouts. I ensure I use this at least a week before writing a review AND I MUST SAY THIS WORKS! It was a rough challenge wearing it on the first day because the heat was a lot for me so I only spent 2hrs on day one. Day 2 I was did 3hrs. If you can’t take the heat, do not buy this great product then write a bad review about “too hot”. Of course it will be hot because your body is not used to it and for sure the heat is what get the job done. I challenge myself daily but not exceeding 8hrs of wear it. I MUST SAY IF YOU WRAP THIS NEATLY, IT WILL NOT SHOW UNDER YOUR CLOTHES AND IT GIVES A SMALLER WAISTLINE SHAPE😍. My bestie/housemate said I’m cheating but I definitely can’t workout like I would love to now so this really helps keeping my stomach and waistline in shape. The belt is made with great quality sturdy materials. Once you put the belt on, just wait for few minutes (depending how hot your body temp is) you can feel it getting hot around the abdominal area where the red material is at. I use it everyday while doing cardio, working out or just sitting around. It gives you like a burning sensation (you know its working) without actually burning you skin. The belt is very narrow and will only cover half my stomache at a time. I do have a long torse but still. If I place it on the bottom abdomen it reaches my belly button then i have to switch it to the top part of my abdomen. Then the sides one at a time because the heating material is only located on one portion. I also got the size I was reading would fit me and its huge. I cant tighten it properly because the wings overlap. It does get warm pretty nicely which is an even bigger bonus since it's cold outside and my tummy is toasty. I did have it on my lower back for a while where I have pain and it works like a heating pad. ... show more

A little cardio added and the technology kicks in. Warms and gets hotter the more your body heats up! I wear a t-shirt and a sweatshirt with the belt for maximum sweat. Heats up my core. Awesome! I have had the belt for almost a week and already lost five pounds! Under 220 lbs That’s huge! In a good way. Liking this belt! Already improved my life! Belt is made of good quality materials with a section of material covering the stomach area that gets really hot after 10 mins or so. I believe it works with your sweat. I have only used the belt for a week during long walks and workouts. It seems to do what it says but I have not measured my waist or took notice yet. I think it is a good product that will work, I only wish the burn material as I call it, was also on the sides to help burn more of the love handle section. Also be aware that you may still feel the burning sensation for a while after taking off the belt and during your shower if you kept the belt on for at least 30 mins or so. This thing is awesome! It's incredible how much heat it creates. I wear this for about 30 mins when I'm sitting and watching tv, after 15 mins if feels like someone set a hot skillet on your stomach. I have found that wearing it over top of an under armour tank top while working out is the best way to go. It just gets too dang hot too fast while you workout. Wearing it over a thin shirt allows you to wear it throughout your entire workout and gives you a nice comfortable heat to were you can really feel it working but you don't feel the need to yanking off like you just walked into a forest fire. Great product. I just wish the heating element portions went all the way around the sides and back. ... show more
