I’ve only had them a month. Very well made, waterproof so far and comfortable. I drive a concrete redimix truck. So they are subjected to some nasty materials. We’ll see how they do. I put “Shoe Grease on them before wearing. Which I hope will give them some more protection.

**Update** I’ve hade these awhile now and they’ve held up very well. Still comfortable, and have withstood working in a Manufacturing Facility, walking about 6-7 miles a day in total. One warning would be to avoid sharp objects as they can slice the leather (which is obvious, but still happened for me). Even with the slice, the boots are still rugged and keeping dry. I haven’t worn these to work yet, but they look and feel high quality. They smell nice, like well treated leather, and the inside of the box has instructions on how to care for the waterproof leather. They feel sturdy, comfortable, and solid. The toe feels like a larger than normal safety toe, which is a good thing, and the Electic Hazard and Waterproof features are nice. I owned a pair similar to these for the last two years and they held up great so I had to get these. Right out of the box they felt like they were already broke in, they're probably the most comfortable boot I've worn. As a utility locator I walk 5-10 miles a day so breaking in boots really sucks but these are amazing. The only thing I would change is buying some extra insoles for more cushion but thats just a personal preference. All in all great boots and if they hold up like my last Irish Setters I'll easily get my money's worth. ... show more

I love these boots. They don't set the metal detector off when I fly, they're light and I'm lazy so the zipper side is AWESOME. I haven't tied my boots in a year. That being said, they're pretty soft and I broke the zipper once, had it repaired , and I've completely destroyed my last pair with diesel and a couple hundred miles of walking. Soles are completely torn up, leather is pretty soft and I've torn a couple holes in em. Gladly bought a replacement pair. ... show more

I've purchased 3 total pairs of these boots. Two of them were bought at a redwing store. they lasted a year and a half each. I walk a lot in the boots. I used the exact numbers from my previous boots to order these back in April, 2021. The soles on the other 2 wore out and i decided to buy the newest pair through Amazon. The Zipper on the left boot just gave out on these. It's been 7 months. The zippers on the others stayed perfect and were in great shape when i retired them. I AM NOT happy that i have boots that have to be replaced only after 7 months. I'm wondering if these are 2nd quality boots OR if they were used and returned. I've used other styles of RedWing boots since 2006 and never had problems. THis is VERY FRUSTRATING. ... show more

The boots fit great and so far 2 months in and zippers still work fine I use them exclusively to see how long zippers last. No water gets through boot except for pants leg draining water into sock and then boot. Overall a great pair of work boots
