So we brought this because as global warming persist our summers in the PNW are becoming increasingly uncomfortable. I thought to get ahead and order a a/c before the prices skyrocketed (like they already have) The issue I discovered upon receiving the unit is that if its "hot" enough in the home can't exactly try the thing out to make sure it works appropriately before the return window closes. That is frustrating for many obvious reasons. I selected this model based off the reviews though after purchasing I noticed most of the reviews were from folks who received the unit for free and that makes their reviews IMO a little questionable. Not as reliable. Long story short because the instructions don't help and info on here did not either, I cranked up the heat to get the temp inside to a point that the unit should kick on. It works. But won't know how well until the summer actually starts.

Pretty decent air conditioner. Installation was easy. You do me a saw to cut the window attachment. Cold air comes out instantly. It is noisy when it comes on but hasn’t woken me up in the middle of the night. The only reason why I didn’t give this 5 stars is by the information, I thought would be a machine you wouldn’t have to empty as often. My Dela had a built in evaporation system and I barely emptied out the water. I can tell this will need to be emptied more often, as it makes a crackling noise with the water in it.

My first impression is this thing is tiny to cool 450 sq its not hot here right now but im sure this is really 250sq . But looks sleek and wasnt to heavy to lug up three flights of stairs will update review when i actually use it . This is the same ac as the tosoft that cost 100$ more its only 75 degress or so out and this thing struggling with 275 sq foot this is for 250 sq its technically a 5,500 btu window ac not worth the price

I ordered this for my brother, whose AC went out in the height of summer… in Louisiana. It took several days longer to arrive than I had hoped but he managed to stay cool enough. His house is small & it’s been doing a great job! I had used a borrowed one after a hurricane in Texas so I knew it would be just what he needed. He’s comfortable and his bill has been lower so he hasn’t been in a rush to call the AC repair.

I got this air conditioner seemed like a good value and had gold stars. I should’ve read the comments better! I seem to be having the same issue as a lot of people. I have it set at 65° and I know darn well before it shuts off It did not hit 65° in my house. So that’s annoying! It shuts off every 10 minutes. Then it shuts off and kicks back on it’s a little loud and has woke me up in the middle of the night startled

The setup was relatively easy. Took me about an hour. The sticky foam is a nightmare... I wouldn't use it. The air blows cold. It's far quieter than I was expecting. The issue is it turns off automatically every few minutes. Many people have this issue and the company says it should only do that on Auto and when the indoor temp reaches the unit temp setting. The unit is not on Auto and it's no where near the temp in the house as set on the unit. I want it to run until I turn it off. I will likely need to return as so far I can't get it to work beyond 5min. The company seems unconcerned about this being a common issue and doesn't help beyond the same auto answer that clearly doesn't apply and isn't helpful for those experiencing this issue.

Bought 2. Both showed up boxes beat up. Returned one as it was damaged but process was easy. Replacement came quickly but box was beat up as well. Replacement unit was fine.
