I bought a shorkie puppy and I needed a place to keep him when he is unsupervised. This little playpen gave him enough space to play and roll around, however not so big that he wanted to potty in the playpen. This absolutely helped with his potty training. Putting the playpen together was so easy. I liked the rubber foot bumpers for the bottom of the pen to prevent sliding. The quality is not bad, style is cute. Great dog pen, really easy to set up and well as customize to your needs. This one was unfortunately to high for what I needed so I had to return ( to clarify i had a small French bulldog, the runt of the liter actually and was looking for something he could be in during the day to be near the other dogs I have but not get ran over by them) this was to high for me to reach over and pick him up and to be able to be on the ground and reach over and play with him.) I would definitely buy again if it was shorter or if I had bigger dogs that needed their own space. ... show more

Built quality good just for standing I guess. Perfect size for my Maltipoo, very easy to put together. Only thing I don't like that you can't fold to small size to put away, it's good just to leave all day if u live in house and have extra space.

    • Great lightweight “Kennel”

We bought this for inside of our RV. We have a Labrador and a small Poodle Mix. We had been setting up two big kennels every night and taking them down in the morning because our dogs use kennels for nighttime sleeping. We also like having them still kenneled in the RV for overnight also so we’re sure they alert us if they need to potty. I had an idea to try a small pen instead of the big metal kennels we have to set up and take down every morning and night. Last night was the first night and the playpen was perfect for this use. My dogs went right in with their bedtime cookie, lol. They didn’t make a peep all night and had enough room for comfort but not enough for anyone to think it was a good place to pee! Am ordering a mesh cover for it now as we always cover their kennel with a blanket at night and did that this time but want something that won’t fall off. It’s not heavy duty but perfect for our needs and the light weight is preferable for us. Should hold together fine though if not mistreated. ... show more

    • Doesn’t seem flimsy at first…

I ordered 2 of the 3 ft high 8 panel… I planned on using them for a little play yard on my patio for my cats to occasionally get to spend some time outside. The positives are that they went together extremely easy. They just snapped together and you can make any configuration with eight or 16 panels. I made a nice big square for the cats to play in and watch the birds and they loved it… UNTIL THRY DIDNT. The slightest breeze moved the panels very easily, and it didn’t take long before it started to cave in making noise and scaring the cats. Now 100 and some dollars later, my cats will not go out there because they’re too afraid of it. When you first take it out of the box, it does not seem flimsy. All the panels themselves are decently made, but I don’t think that they are made to connect many panels together without some added support.. Luckily, I saved the boxes and I will probably be returning them ... show more

    • Excellent for Small Breeds Only!

Update. Everyone in my house including the cat could push this thing out of shape. There was also no gate. While the panels initially snapped and unsnapped easily, they quickly "wore out" and stopped staying together at all. Huge waste of money. I bought this for my 4 week old golden retriever puppies that have outgrown their whelping box. Here's what I thought: I liked that it was lightweight. It was super easy to snap together and unsnap after a bit of practice. It would be easy for transporting. I had it snapped together and set up in a matter of seconds. I also appreciated how easy it was to create the exact shape you wanted. I felt these panels were too lightweight to be practical for my Goldens. The dam was able to push and manipulate the shape of the pen which was annoying for sanitary reasons. These panels are light weight because one side is hollow. This is annoying as well for sanitary issues. Things can get up into the cracks and crevices and I'm all about easy cleaning. You could turn it inside out I suppose but then it's kinda ugly. Overall I'm relatively happy with it at the moment but when my pups double in size it will not be safe to use. Don't buy this for medium to large breed puppies even though the size is right. This pen should only be used with small breeds. For the price, I paid, it's not a good deal. ... show more

This dog playpen has been so helpful for keeping my pup safe and contained while still giving them plenty of space to move around. It’s sturdy, easy to set up, and folds away nicely when not in use. The size is perfect for playtime, and the material feels durable enough to handle some chewing and scratching. I also like that it’s lightweight, so I can move it indoors or outdoors as needed.
