Love this Iris pen, easy to use & to clean. I I forgot to take a photo when it was set up. My little 6 lb. senior dog can't knock it over & she's not afraid of it. I set it up in our living room with a blanket and a bed in it and give her a small treat whenever she decides to venture inside of it, so she has discovered that it's a happy, fun safe place to be. I don't leave her in there for long extended periods of time though, I use the pen only for when we need to keep her out from underfoot if we have people visit our home who are not used to being carful of stepping on a tiny dog such as my elderly parents. It's good to have on hand. But I can see how this will be useful for house training a young puppy if we ever have a very young untrained dog some day. Lightweight, easy to move everywhere, pick it up with one hand, good plastic material, good height. I bought a nice quilt for the mattress and my puppy learned to go in and out by herself opening the door with her leg. When the door is locked, it keeps the puppy out of trouble, she stays in it playing with all her toys or sleeping without fuss. It gives me a little timeto do a few things without worrying and It looks elegant in any room that you move it to. She is now one year old and will forever use her playpen even though she plays outside and sleeps with me too. ... show more

    • Sturdy pen but it needs a molding for under the crate

Like many other reviewers my puppy jumped over the top of the play pen on day 1, however that was not a problem since I soon after bought the velcro top accessory off Amazon and that does keep my pup in his pen. The pen is nice, lightweight and sturdy however my main complaint is that there is not a thick waterproof molding or plastic or silicone matt to place under the pen. I don’t want to purchase a fabric one however because my mini Aussie doodle likes to dig on floors and spill his water bowl. I am mostly wanting to protect my new hardwood floors and this pen doesn’t offer that kind of protection with out a bottom to the pen. We have a Kong crate upstairs that he sleeps in and it does offer floor protection but it is super duper heavy and I will have to keep it upstairs. ... show more

I like that it doesn’t feel so constricting. I hate kennels because to me they look like little jail cells. This makes me feel like my dog still has some freedom and comfort. However, this is definitely for small puppies. It’s not very firm. I have a pug puppy, but a bigger breed would move this all over and jump over quickly. Keep that in mind when purchasing. Besides that, it’s really cute and doesn’t look ugly in the house. It’s so adorable with my doggies pink bed. Gave it 4 stars because I don’t know wether this will restrain her once she’s bigger. For now it does the job! Hopefully when she’s older she is fully house broken and won’t need this anymore. 😊 ... show more

I like either and soon as I ordered it, I saw a video of a lady who's teacup yorkie jumped over it. I thought no ma'am, not my dog. So I put her in and sure enough, 3 times now she has jumped over. So I will try not to put her pillow in there and maybe just her blanket. I will also have to order the cover and see if she tries it with that. Otherwise than that, I do like it. The playpen is easy to assemble and the panels can be adjusted from 4 to 6 depending g on your needed space. I have a 5 lb Shorkie that is an escape artist! The panels are lightweight resulting in not staying in place when jumped on and my puppy escaping by wiggling unneath the panel. So make sure you secure it somehow if left alone. ... show more
