Packaged very well in fit-to-product foam and a shipping box. Make sure that you have room; counter, dresser, wherever because this mirror does eat a fairly large chunk of space. I agree with another reviewer that the magnified add-on really stays put via suction cups. It may be best to seriously ‘audition’ the placement for your perfect use BEFORE pressing it into place. The lighting is terrific with the ability to adjust warmth or coolness. Keep in mind that the power switch and lighting adjustment are on the mirror itself…read that to mean fingerprints. The back of the magnifying disc is solid and therefore light will not pass through it but merely surround it. In the end, I decided not to mount the magnifying mirror for the time being. The power transformer prongs for an outlet are loose in every outlet that I tried. I have not attempted to spread the prongs for a more secure fit. Any movement, to draw the mirror closer for example, will cause the connection to drop out of the outlet. The connection to the back of the mirror is snug and secure. This mirror tilts; but is one sided only. I have no use for the phone holder and have not attached it (there is hardware included to do so). The reflection seems to be true to size and has no waves or other anomalies. The one issue that I’m perplexed to resolve is that the base is very thin, narrow, and light weight. Where the magnifier disc could probably withstand a tornado, the unit itself will fall over with only the slightest bump or slide across the tabletop. ... show more

As a regular mirror this works nicely. But I wanted a 15x mirror and the ad is somewhat deceiving. As the ad does not show on the cover photo the small attachable round 3 in. mirror that is the only way to see 15x. The ad does state that the 15x mirror is attachable/detachable. Otherwise the lighting works great, and the size is perfect. Just wish the larger mirror was the 15x as I expected. ... show more

Got this as a gift for my 16 year old daughter, and this mirror is great! First of all the mirror is actually a mirror, not made of plastic, and the frame is metal too, not plastic! The touch buttons on the mirror are very responsive, and the 3 light modes are very helpful. Also this also has a dimmer for all 3 of the lighting modes. But the cherry on top is the phone holder...you can FaceTime and do your makeup at the same time, a great little feature! This also has a non slip base so that helps too.
