I was hesitant to buy a chair online, but this chair had all the bells and whistles. I have bought chairs at big-name stores and the recliners were double the price with half the features. Fed-Ex delivered the chair in 2 boxes. (He even carried it into the living room for us.) It took exactly 40 minutes for us to unbox the pieces and assemble them. We didn't run into any trouble at all! Hubby is 6'1 and 250 pounds, and although this chair is listed as a medium chair, he fits perfectly in it. The mechanisms to lift the feet and recline work smoothly and the massage & heat feature is great. Hubby doesn't need to use the lift feature, but we tried it out and it works wonderfully. I bought a different chair. Sent it back. Went to Lazy Boy. Sat on everything in the showroom. Prices were way to high. Searched for this one with a little bit wider seat. I came really fast. Assembled very easily. And is so comfortable. Buttons took a little getting used to but are easy now. The heat function is great for my lower back. Message is OK but I didn't buy it for that and I hope I never need it to help me stand up but it does that too. Fabric looks like it will stand up to time and my cats. I am writing this after only having the recliner one day. It came in 2 boxes. Fedex left them outside in the rain, and did not ring the bell. So if you are not home during the day be aware of this. The faux leather is very good quality and the chair seems to be very well constructed and designed. The electric components are in a package under the seat base. It is easy to put the arm pieces on the base. We over analyzed attaching the back to the seat, because there are prongs sticking out that look like they would prevent it. Dont think about it. Just shove the back onto the seat until it clicks. There should be no gap between the back and the seat. If you have any problems with assembly there is a YT video. The controller is wired, not battery. My issue is there are 6 functions and only 4 buttons. Lift up and down; feet up and down; back recline or not. Since there are only 4 buttons, the foot function shares with lift. The back is slightly reclined even when fully up. So my husband is using several pillows to sit farther forward. I am 5'3". When i sit with no pillows my legs/knees hit the edge of the chair where they should. The chair fits me. If you have long legs this chair may be too small for you. ... show more

I bought this chair for my 91 yr old father. He loves it. He sleeps in it every night and uses it at naptimes and when watching TV. It is very easy to operate once you get the hang of the symbols on the remote. The fabric is luxurious and soft. It works wonderfully.

I really like this recliner. The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is because there are no instructions for how the remote controls work. The assembly instructions are not real clear, either. The quality seems nice (we have only had it for a few days, so don’t know long-term quality). The shipping was GREAT, it arrived very quickly. The chair is well made, attractive and quiet. The main negative is that is for a small person. My wife is 5'7" and the chair is much too small for her. I put some lifts under the chair to rise it about one and one half inches and that helped with the height issue but overall if you are over 5'5" this chair may be too small for you. The other problem is that the faux leather is hot. If I had to do it again, I would pay extra for real leather. ... show more

The chair is exactly as described - the size is perfect, especially with the leg extension. The seat and back are soft enough and very comfortable. My husband needed a chair that reclines flat to sleep on and this chair does that perfectly. The massage is another nice feature and even gets warm. I absolutely LOVE this chair. I'm not sure yet how it will hold up as I've only had it a week but it feels like it will indeed hold up!! It's VERY comfortable for a smaller person! You don't have that "bump" behind your head crooking your neck forward like with other LR furniture. The heat has an auto off and feels great. I quickly tried the massage to make sure it works, it's that typical vibrate feel so it is unlikely I will ever use that feature but it does have many different variations of massage. The only negatives I can thing of are that I think the reviews complaining about a "gap" between the back and the seat just didn't push the back down enough when putting it together, it's a little difficult to push the 2 pieces together and the directions are your typical foreign mostly useless directions. Heat has an auto off feature which is GREAT, just wish it stayed on a bit longer before turning off. Oh yea, and it isn't quite wide enough for both me and my dog so she isn't has happy with it, lol. Overall, so very glad I bought this chair and I am hoping it holds up as well as I think it may! ... show more
