    • Good chair for 'average-to-tall'...
Love the look. Came mostly assembled, but needed lots of help because I'm old and weak, ...and short, and fat, to boot! Only one using the chair, though my 2 dogs want to try it. Like the comfort and pretty good stability. It seems sturdy, except for the left back 'wing' that squeeks if I support myself by holding onto it as I pass behind it while walking. Not sure why that is. It lays very flat if you want it to, but I prefer a slight incline, so I don't go all the way back. I like the separate heat or massage controls on the remote. But I wish the vibrator units were placed a bit lower in the chair back. I'm short, so the 'shoulder massage' unit hits me behind the head. I don't use it often. The lower massage unit is better for me and hits my waist/lower back. I have to put the chair in the forward/upright position so the front of the chair is low enough for me to seat myself to the back of the seat cushion (I'm just too short). Then I let the chair down so it's level and scoot my bottom as far back as I can before the front of the chair lifts my feet off the floor as it settles and elevates my legs to a comfortable position. This is my first lift chair, so I have nothing to compare it with otherwise, but it seems pretty good to me. The only thing I wish it did have that it doesn't is another set of vibrators for my hips and legs. But I slept like a baby on the first try. Overall, I'd say '4 stars' about covers it. ... show more

After researching many different chairs I decided on buying from Irene House because of their great reviews. Im not disappointed. The assembly was easy, no tools even required. The material was better than expected. I’m hoping it will be durable and last a long time. It came with a pillow and a pad for the seat; I thought it would have to be ordered extra but it came with it. The motor is very quiet, it moves very smoothly. The heat works very well, as does the massage feature. You can really change it up with all the different options it has. It’s a bit more narrow than I’d like, my dog likes to sit next to me but there is no room for her with this chair, bshe will just sit on the arm or in my lap and that’s fine. Overall, I pleasantly surprised. I just had a knee replacement and it’s very helpful, I can’t get in and out of my old style chair without a lot of pain. It’s better than expected and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the chairs offered by Irene House. ... show more

This chair is easy to get in and out of, comfy and a joy to sleep in. Nothing like my old recliner. I Love the massage and heat. I can fall asleep using them and the 15 minute timer is a great safety feature. The pad and pillow are a nice touch. I use the pillow for back support. The chair was easy to assemble. The recliners arrived well before expected. They are sturdy, nice looking, lots of extra's. My only complaint is that Fedex didn't ring doorbell, and left them outside my gate. I was informed that I would need to be home to sign for them.
