After attaching cords we had a faulty cord' After several emails back and forth with tchninian a new cord was sent and problems were solved. Very courteous help . The chair does not take up too much space but is roomy. The message is nice especially with a little heat. it is a nice rich blue, not too dark and the chenille makes it cozy. Arrived several days early. All parts included, clear instructions. Easy set-up—biggest challenge for me is grappling with big cardboard boxes. But the chair arrived safe and well packaged, so again I appreciate the great service. For me, the difference between a $400 chair vs. $800 is: quality cover, innerspring, cushy seat and back, smooth quiet dual motors, sturdy quality construction. It looks lovely as well. I brought this chair for my mother who is elderly. I shopped around at various local stores and these chairs come in various price ranges. After I ordered the chair, I saw a similar one at Bj's for almost half the price- but that was in a booklet so I have no idea about the quality. My mother needed a chair so I didn't cancel and committed to this chair. The entire chair is faux leather but it has a nice look and almost looks like leather. I wasn't expecting the chair to come in pieces but it was extremely easy to put together. The back support to firm and overall the chair seems like it will last. We got this chair for my husband who has back pain. He is able to adjust the chair to a position to help alleviate some of that pain. Shipping was very fast. It was easy to put together. It seems well constructed and solid. The cushions are soft but firm enough that you don't sink into them. I sat in it a few times... enough that it put my old worn out recliner to shame... so we bought another one of these today - for me. I'm 5'3 and this size chair fits me perfectly. My feet touch the floor, which is rare with the new gigantic furniture nowadays. The lift mechanism is quiet and the remote is easy to use. The massage is nice with several different settings. The lay flat design is super nice and invites you to take that nap you need... * We ordered the brown chenille fabric - One note about the brown chenille color... The photos for this color make it look like a medium/chocolate brown. What we received is very dark - more like dark cocoa. I realize that different device screens can make things look different... Being 6-5 310 lbs it has always been a challenge finding a chair that would last, I think I found it. It is very comfortable and does not make noise like I'm killing it. I only complaint was with Fedex...it was shipped in 3 boxes and came 1 box every other day. All being said I LOVE my chair....

I purchased this recliner for my 97 year old dad. He was able to figure out the controlsfor all the functions. The chair is comfortable and works flawlessly. The heat and massage features are great. It arrived in two separate boxes. One was fairly heavy. I was able to deal with moving it by myself, but anyone who is a bit frail will need assistance without doubt. Although it moves into the various positions it supposed to do, it does so slowly but smoothly and quietly. Slowly, however, may actually be better for many users. The item comes in two boxes and is fairly easy to assemble. The quality of the fabric won't be known until its been used for several months but right out of the box it seems fine. The highest upright position is more than adequate and makes it easy for the user to lift themselves to a fully upright position. It doesn't lie completely flat but flat enough that my wife is able to sleep on it while she recovers from back surgery. The item is made in China but then again what isn't nowadays?
