We got this chair for my husband who has back pain. He is able to adjust the chair to a position to help alleviate some of that pain. Shipping was very fast. It was easy to put together. It seems well constructed and solid. The cushions are soft but firm enough that you don't sink into them. I sat in it a few times... enough that it put my old worn out recliner to shame... so we bought another one of these today - for me. I'm 5'3 and this size chair fits me perfectly. My feet touch the floor, which is rare with the new gigantic furniture nowadays. The lift mechanism is quiet and the remote is easy to use. The massage is nice with several different settings. The lay flat design is super nice and invites you to take that nap you need... * We ordered the brown chenille fabric - One note about the brown chenille color... The photos for this color make it look like a medium/chocolate brown. What we received is very dark - more like dark cocoa. I realize that different device screens can make things look different... Not a deal breaker by any means, but I would have liked the lighter brown. I highly recommend this chair. ... show more

    • Big and tall fits me
I'm 6'2', 265lbs. and needed both a chair long enough so that my legs didn't hang over and cut off my foot circulation and dual motors so I could "fine tune" my positions. After reading every single review, I realized that several of the negatives were brought on by customers who bought chairs that were too small for themselves, yet they complained about leg hangover and bottoming out cushions. If you're big and tall spend a few dollars more and get the Big& tall! I spend a lot of time in my chair and am demanding when it comes to quality, convenience and comfort. This chair is the one for me (or even someone taller and heavier). 1) Came in 9 days in 3 boxes and took me about 2 hours to assemble (a helper would've been nice). 2) Black faux leather looks like real leather. Cushions are more than ample for me and very comfortable. 3) Massage (8 levels) and heat functions are very functional from the neck to lower back (none on rump or legs though). There's also a power battery backup in case of power outages. 4) Very good overall quality in every way with a great 1,2 and 3 year warranty on the various components. Finally, the price was within my budget with all of the goodies the $3k-$4k high end chairs have. I'll write a future update should there be any significant performance or quality issues. ... show more

I wanted a smaller recliner, and this is the perfect size for a 5'3" lady. The color is beautiful (a light cool beige). The upholstery fabric is soft, quite sturdy, and cleans easily (this has not been tested on any real dirt but just a small spill). Mechanics work fine, no problems. Only small complaint is that the seat could be a little more padded, a little more comfortable for long term TV and reading. I see some complaints about the space made when reclined way back (maybe for people who want to sleep in it??). This is not an issue for me. For the money, great chair. I hope it continues to serve me well for year's...time will tell. ... show more

It was shipped quickly but did arrive in 2 boxes each one day apart. No big deal I expected this after reading other reviews and confirmed this after calling the number provided on Amazon for the Irene Store. They service sends really decent from them. They gave me the tracking number for the second package and the delivery date - next day. Everything worked and was easy to put together. The main box is a bit heavy but needs to be for a lift chair. The heater and massage both work really well. One setting for heat and multiple ones the the massager. The cushions are firm but comfortable and it lays flat for sleeping which I will need for rotator cuff surgery coming up. There is a gap where your lower back lays so the included pillow will be needed for that or possibly another pillow depending on your back. I was looking at a nice recliner locally for 900 to 1800 and this one is close to quality of the more expensive one for a lot less. The service for the company so far had been very good. The one remote did have a broken section to it and they are shipping me a new one now, the day after it arrived and have provided me a tracking number for that. The are also wheels that go into the back of the chair that make it easy to move it around without having to lift it or drag it, just need to pick up on the front a little. I'm very happy with both the recliner and the service from Irene House so far. ... show more

The quality of this Power Lift Chair is Awesome And you can't beat the price! I have spent several hours looking at Power lift Chairs Online as well as looking in person at all the major Name Brand furniture stores and this chair is as good as any other I have found for a fraction of the price! After receiving this chair and un boxing it I inspected it thoroughly prior to assembly. I could not find any imperfections in it in any way and the quality seemed to be equally as good as anyone that I had looked at in stores personally. Although this chair came with directions they were not needed at all. I was able to assemble it in about 15 minutes. It was very self-explanatory and with a little common sense you will have no problem at all. The motors worked very smooth and quiet. The massage and heat modes are excellent. Prior to purchasing this chair I contacted Irene House (customer service) to verify warranty as well as available parts and accessories. This chair has a two year warranty on motor and Electronics. And a three-year warranty on Frame,Fabric and everything else. Customer service was extremely kind, helpful and also offered to work with me if I had any issues whatsoever. To me that was a BIG selling point. I would recommend this chair to anybody that doesn't want to spend close to three grand at La-Z-Boy or anywhere else for that matter for a power lift chair! ... show more
