Okay, here is the good. It's a decent looking chair. It has seemingly robust controllers, better massage than expected as well as having dual OKIN certified motors. We have tried a cheaper, single motor, lift chair recently and this one was of noticeably higher quality. From the outer box alone, you can see and feel the sturdiness of the cardboard as well as the plastic handles on the box containing the powered lift section were immediately appreciated. In fact, the cheaper chair came to Indiana from Georgia and the boxes were fairly beaten up. This chair arrived all the way from California, with the boxes in almost perfect condition. Unboxing / Assembly I hurt myself on a furniture staple that was sticking out / off of the bottom of the backrest and I did this twice before my husband and I discovered the cause. Additionally, there were some noticeable differences between the leveling of both the arm rests. It's not terrible, but the difference between the two sides suggests an issue with the wood used on that side or some other manufacturers or quality control issue. We followed all instructions and I can confirm correct assembly and seating of all component parts. The operation of the lift chair is slow, but very smooth, nearly whisper quiet, and lifts quite high for easier rising. The ability to independently control the positioning of the backrest and the leg rest makes for better, more comfortable seating choices. We DO wish the leg rest could go a bit higher, but this is, apparently, quite common in dual motor, lie flat recliners. During assembly, after discovering the imbalance of the arm rests, we completely disassembled and re-assembled the chair. During this, we have noticed three other annoying issues. 1. the right ear had / has a scrape or gouge in the finish that we didn't notice before. 2. the Velcro strip on the back of the frame is not aligned with the strip on the pu material and doesn't want to stay secured. 3. it is very difficult to determine how to run the power connections and the manual doesn't specify this. Communication with the seller was more than adequate. Shipping was fast and both boxes arrived on the same day. Overall, this seems to be a really solid choice for a dual motor lift chair without spending a fortune. ... show more

Picked this chair for my 98 year old Mother because it has 2 motors which allows the leg rest to move independently from the back recliner! It’s also comfortable & very easy for her to use!
