Manufactured wrong, the ends are not aligned, the box had been previously opened and it looked like it had been installed and used. I also opened another one today and the ends are loose and floppy, looks like they do not use enough adhesive to hold them on. I am not sure how the third one is going to hold up because of the lack of adhesive. Edit: Upon further inspection, this was already returned once and used before they sold it to me. The box was missing a foam shipping brace on one end and the other end had been turned around backwards to push the tube against the other side of the box where the one was missing. The box was also taped twice and you can see where the first tape was cut and the box had been opened. Look at the reflector in the picture. ... show more

I have purchased 2 of these and both arrived damaged. One had the glue break where the glass met the tube, the second has a huge hammer size dent on one of the 6in openings. I ordered 1 more and if it doesn't arrive in working condition then I really don't know what to say. My local hydro store is sold out of the Cooltubes...I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone ... show more

The socket had too strong a spring . The lamp could not be seated correctly . Mechanical problem , caution. If you buy this , check fit. Could cause bulb break and electrical danger . Bad manufacturing on lamp socket. CAUTION .
