    • Excellent quality and value but hinders iPad use
I am comparing this product to the Apple Magic Keyboard which for me failed at 16 months with AppleCare refusing to cover replacement, so I was happy to locate this product as a potential replacement. On receipt, both the cover and keyboard seem to be of excellent quality, especially given the price point. The keyboard is much better than the Magic Keyboard and, if my primary use was to be at a desk for extensive typing, this product would be perfect. But, out of that situation, problems surface. Firstly, it is significantly bulkier and heavier when carting around or packing. When you want to read using your iPad in portrait mode, or simply using the iPad for viewing a video while sitting in a lounge chair, the loose keyboard must be set aside and the substantial case becomes a detriment, awkward and heavy. For me this became a deal killer. So, in spite of it being an excellent product for some uses, I will be returning it. ... show more

Overall I'm really pleased with this case. The materials are good, the design is nice and subtle. The keyboard has also been fine and is definitely as customizable as they say. The only drawbacks with this case at the price is that the iPad cant be rotated and the whole package + iPad is reasonably heavy but I can live with it. ... show more

    • A high-quality product at an incredible price
This keyboard and this case at this price may seem too good to be true, but rest assured that this is a high-quality product at an insanely low price. The keyboard is very easy to set up and use, with an attractive array of lighting options and several quick keys that are clearly labeled and turn your iPad into a notebook. The delete forward key itself is almost worth the price of the product. The case provides three grooves for screen placement, but you can adjust the screen outside of those as well. The keyboard holds in pace securely because of magnets. The case closes firmly, and it feels like solid protection for my iPad should I ever drop it on my hardwood floors; I won’t be testing the durability intentionally. Three minor criticisms that aren’t dealbreakers: You can’t display the screen vertically with the case; the keyboard doesn’t have a trackpad, so you have to touch the screen for navigation; and the keyboard base is a hard plastic that touches your screen when you fold the case, so a screen protector seems necessary — I think it’s a good idea regardless. I have been using this keyboard several times a day for a week now, and it’s still running on my initial charge. This is a high-quality product at an incredible value. Why are you still reading this? I love this case so much I am even writing this review with the keyboard! xD This keyboard is amazing!! The instructions are explicitly clear and they colors on the keyboard are beautiful and amazing. The keyboard is easy to use, manage, and to charge, as well as changing the colors. I purchased the black folio case, not the tan one, and I think that the black allows the colors to show more. So, if you are looking for a keyboard case for your iPad Air 3rd generation or iPad Pro (10.5”) with bright displaying LED keys, I highly recommend buying this case in the color black (it makes the key colors look more defined.) I would definitely recommend this iPad case to a friend, and I would most definitely buy this case again in a heartbeat, without a doubt. ... show more

    • This is what Apple Should Have Made For a Keyboard Case
This keyboard case is crazy. First off, there is no label or logo brand. At all. Yet when comparing reviews of top brands of other keyboard cases like Apple, Like Logitech...the reviews were terrible! Even a company that has literally the same design had some red flag reviews. This is the ONLY keyboard case that his the highest rating and the damn thing looks like it was hand made in someones single apartment in Shenzhen. And BTW, they did a great job. Who ever is making these, is doing it one at a time and running daily trips to Huaqiangbei to get the parts. That being said, as many have commented, this case is heavy, not the keyboard, mind you (which is lighter than air). The case is heavy and that’s a very good thing. The plastic that covers the edges of my iPad Pro is super tough. That plastic is heavy. But what else is also heavy are the magnets that make up the front cover. Yeah, that so your nice new keyboard doesn’t fall out. Even better imagine being at a coffee shop where the outside tables are steel. I don’t have to imagine it. I’ve lived it! Once this case makes contact with STEEL it is not going anywhere. Really good for those who think they could just grab your investment and go. The keyboard could probably use a little more weight. Aside from that this thing is great. I love the color changing keyboard. The main feature I like is the button for the home screen on your iPad. I am constantly switching apps for my work. The charging is decent enough. One charge lasts about a week. That’s with constant use. What I mean by constant is I am moving everything off of my PC to the iPad Pro. So if you are like me and see your iPad Pro as your desk top replacement and you do a lot of work...that kind of CONSTANT USAGE. You will need a camera connection kit (only buy these from apple) to help with charging your keyboard on the go. Now lets talk about the case iPencil/pen tray. This is so damn cool. This was one of those elements that if Steve Jobs was a live today, would have been on official apple keyboard case. This pen tray not only holds the pen SECURELY but it also holds that little female to female lightning adapter that came with the $100 thing. Oh, and when you are charging your Apple pen there is place to put the cap. This is REAL apple design at it’s best and it’s not even apple. LOL LOL LOL LOL! Over all, there is a reason that a no brand DIY from Shenzhen got higher scores than Logitech and Apple keyboards. Actually a lot of reasons. I spent $50 on this. Money well spent!
