We bought a different version of this one for the iPad we let our child use, and we absolutely loved it. Accidentally set it on the stove with a low flame -- still worked great! We thought we got something very similar for my mother-in-law to use when our kid is over, but the material is very different and feels cheap and light. It is still protective, but was about the same price and just isn't nice to use. I spent a lot of time looking for the same case for my iPad Air 3 because it holds more downloaded content when we do car trips. This case isn't technically rated for that size, but after thorough research, I thought it was worth a try. It fits my iPad just fine, and I actually liked it so much that I just leave it on all the time!     • Good product, but broken upon arrival
We've had a few of these for some time. There is a note when you open the tempered glass protective coating that is included that says if the glass is broken, to email them and a replacement, actually two pieces of glass, will be sent. So I did that, but the email was sent back as undeliverable.

We utilized this case as for a speech device for a disabled person. Overall there's a lot of value for the money here. Within a week the kickstand was broken which was mended and reassembled using uv light curing cyanoacrylate and an aluminum splint made from a key. The problem with this case is that the corners lack significant reinforcement on the interior of the case body, or a significant enough thickness for falls above four feet. To reduce material usage the manufacturer has cored out the interior mould leaving only the initial wall thickness of the case to take the impact of a drop once they squish zone is fully compressed. When the case is brand new it will take some significant punishment. As time goes on the case develops holes in the corners from repeated drops. The thermoplastic elastomer that this is injection molded out of, eventually cracks leaving a hole that is not visible unless the material is stretched. This is a TPE, and not silicone as silicone would be much more expensive and difficult to manufacture. Not a bad material for this purpose but it does degrade over time especially with impact force as compared to silicone. Once this material failure has occurred you will eventually get a damaged iPad. If using this case make sure that you have apple care if being used for a young person. ... show more
