It is moisturizing and lightweight. Perfect for my combination skin. In terms of effectiveness, I am not seeing much difference.

Love this retinol

My typical night time skincare routine is: micellar water to remove makeup > oil cleansing > foam cleansing > BHA 2% (Paula’s Choice) > vitamin C serum > other serums > facial moisturizer. I have combo skin, oily T-zone and dryer cheeks that can get a bit flaky in the winter. My skin generally responds well to vitamin C and collagen as ingredients. As far as the retinol, I don’t think the concentration is that strong (or maybe my skin just isn’t sensitive to it) because I haven’t really noticed a change in my smile lines and crow’s feet. It did help the lines on my neck a little but I don’t know if that was just because of the moisturizing. So overall it’s a fine product but I wouldn’t get it again.
