    • Good features & functionality
We liked having the option for a closed system without having to be connected to wifi. Our bedroom is a dead spot for wifi in our house so we wanted something that wouldn't be affected by drop in wifi strength. The camera setup is very easy. And connection to the monitor itself is very easy and works great. We like that the monitor is small and portable. We set up the camera closer to the crib to get a better view, so we don't need it to be crystal clear because the camera is closer to the baby. The night vision is a plus, and definitely works well under low light settings. The rechargeable battery has good power, and we typically keep it unplugged and with us until we are ready to go to bed for the night and plug it back in on the bedside table. It has a lot of other functions, but since our baby is a little bit older we didn't need to utilize the breastfeeding reminder, lullaby's, or talk to function. They definitely work though, and would be a great addition if those are things you needed. ... show more

I got this monitor to use when we are out side and our grandkids are asleep inside. It was easy to set up and doesn't require the internet. The monitor is large enough to see things well and has a very clear picture. It has 2 way talk which works great for us when the kids aren't doing what they are supposed to be doing. The monitor shows the temperature on it so you can tell if it gets to hot or cold in their room. It also plays 8 different lullaby's to help sooth a child to sleep. What I really like about it is the range. I was able to go across the street and sit in the neighbors driveway and still had a great connection. This is a great monitor especially for the price.     • Defective item?
Can’t tell if the whole unit is defective or if the night feature just absolutely blows on this device. The manual mentions that the camera will detect low lighting and automatically turn on the night mode, however, that never happened, even in a pitch black room. There was also no way to toggle that feature on and off in the menu settings. Too bad, because the daylight camera view was pretty crystal clear. The menu access was pretty easy, although very odd way to turn the unit volume up and down, but I didn’t find that too be a big issue. Unfortunately, unit was returned within minutes of unboxing due to the night mode feature being the main reason for purchase. ... show more

I want to know that my child is safe while they are napping. It is important for me to be able to view and hear them. It is also important that my child's privacy is maintained. I do not want a camera that is on a network that has the chance to be leaked or accessed to without my consent. In springs this baby monitor from ioneto that just did me right. It's cute and simple, easy to use and install. I like the different functions of the camera and display. I thought it was a great product and it lived up to my expectations.     • Great To Keep An Eye On Your Dogs Too
This review is for the baby monitor. For the price, this is great to use to keep an eye on my dogs during the day. I like that I can yell at them from down in the basement when they are upstairs. I don't need the clearest picture. It was easy to set up and I can easily move it around if needed.

I was actually really impressed with this monitor. While it does pick up the sound machine we have in our baby's room, it goes into a mode where it only "turns on" when noise is detected so you don't have to hear the white noise the whole time it's on.
