This replaced another circular rug that served as an accent rug in front of my kitchen island. This rug is not as heavy as my old one, so I was afraid it would constantly get shifted around by our dogs and cat, who like to lay on it from time to time. Though it is a lighter weight than I would prefer, it really stays put pretty well, and I rarely have to move it back into its place. Beautiful rug, so soft it feels like a blanket. Very thin -Would not recommend for heavy traffic areas. It doesn’t feel like it would hold up well. Would be great in a bedroom. We bought it for our hall and moved it to a bedroom.
