I purchased an Invoy electric recliner on February 5th it was delivered on February 10th I loved it great chair but over a period of time the right side of the chair back started twisting now I’m 6’6”. 205 we’ll within chair specs I delayed contacting the seller Bird F I finally contacted them on July 22nd and told them the problem next day I got an email asking me to send a photo and explain problem and I did. Within a day I was emailed back and told please provide the shipping information they would send a new one out immediately. I sent them the information and on July 30th I was sitting on my brand new recliner and they also. Told me don’t worry about sending back the damaged one. Bird F is a stand up company and the way things are today that is rare. I would recommend to anybody if you’re looking for something and they sell it buy from them not only will you get a great product but nobody out there will stand behind the sale like Bird F. Buy from them and you won’t be sorry they took what I thought was going to be a terrible experience and it wasn’t at all quite the opposite so your next purchase look them up before you buy!!! ... show more

I was surprised by the firmness of the seat and back of the chair. I guess I expected more cushion. However I replaced a 17 year old couch with two chairs, so it definitely an upgrade. Electric recline works smoothly. I'd like the arms to be a little higher, but again it an improvement from what I had, arrived quickly in one box. I purchased this recliner for my ill father. It serves as his easy chair and bed. It is very comfortable and it is easy for him to operate since it is electric. We had a issue where it wasn’t sitting level. There was a bend in one of the bars below the seat. I reached out to customer service and they are reissuing a new chair. Fabric is holding up well after almost 3 months of daily use. It is comparable to some lay-z-boy fabrics but a little thinner, soft but not so much that it is plush, feels good. Butt area has a strong springy cushioning to it, everything else is padded. If you have a sensitive tailbone I would recommend adding a small extra cushion to the seat. I actually consider this a plus as it won't compress over time and need maintenance. The recliner pops out the legs first, then tilts back. This feels a bit backwards to me but it works well enough. The problem is you can't just drop the legs and climb out of the chair. The chair tips over very easily, especially when reclined. Leaning forward any more than straight upright is likely to tip the chair forward with no warning and no way to catch yourself. It can also tip sideways but you get an opportunity to correct as it will stop partway. If you need to get out of the chair in an emergency and don't have time to drop the legs, the arm rests are only padding so you can roll out sideways. But you have to be careful with your center of gravity as you could make it tip sideways too. The chair also can wobble side-to-side, it doesn't give a very sturdy sensation. This isn't noticeable under normal usage. The construction of the chair overall seems very solid and I don't expect it to fail for a long time unless abused. The motor seems robust and the reclining electronics seem fully enclosed. I am 6 foot tall and the chair is slightly on the small side for me. I would recommend non-sliding lifters for the chair if not strapping it down onto a 2x4 frame to prevent it from tipping, but it can be used as-is if you are careful. Overall great value but I wouldn't buy one for an elderly person who can't risk tipping over. ... show more
