Description

Blue dial. Silver-tone stainless steel case with a silver-tone stainless steel band. Quartz movement. 200 meters / 660 feet water resistance. Uni-directional Rotating bezel. Fold Over with Safety Release clasp. Case size 37.5 mm x 10 mm. Invicta 9204 Pro Diver Watch. With the affordable silver-tone Invicta Pro Diver SQ quartz men's watch, you can still afford to buy flippers and a pair of goggles. It features a shock-resistant, Japanese quartz movement that will stand up to the rigors of your undersea adventures, and it's water resistant to 200 meters (660 feet). It's topped by a blue-plated unidirectional rotating bezel with elapsed time markings in silver and scalloped edges for a firm grip even with diving gloves. The blue dial includes large Tritnite luminous markers and hands (with seconds hand) and a date window at 3 o'clock with a magnifier. Other features include a fold-over clasp with safety and an anti- reflective mineral crystal. Pro Diver Collection Plunge into any horizon using the steadfast guidance of the Invicta Pro Diver. Stylishly classic, internal workings are forged with variations of either Swiss chronograph or 21-jewel automatic movements and willingly navigate in depths up to 300 meters. Built with confident prowess, the fortitude with which these timepieces function makes the Pro Diver the quintessential in performance.Screw Down Crowns: Many Invicta watches are equipped with a screw down crown to help prevent water infiltration. This is most common on our Diver models. In order to adjust the date and/or time on such a watch, you must first unscrew the crown before you can gently pull it out to its first or second click stop position. To do this, simply rotate the crown counterclockwise until it springs open. When you have finished setting the watch, the crown must then be pushed in and screwed back in tightly. Not doing so will cancel the water resistance of the watch and will void all warranties from the manufacturer. Overall, this process should not require a lot of effort or force.

  • Very high-quality! Great value.
This is an outstanding watch! It's beautiful and fits a smaller wrist very very well. I'm new to watch "collecting" and really wanted to buy this to test size and feel. I will buy more Invicta watches and move into higher end watches now that I know what works for me. Buy this watch you will not be disappointed. ... show more

  • The pictures do NOT do this watch justice...
The face of the 9204 is deep purple/blue pearl. The bezel is mirror polished with semi-gloss silver numbers over a semi-gloss indigo blue background. The face and bezel colors don't seem like they would work together but they do. The case is mirror polished on the side with a satin finish on top. The logo stamped crown screws down with marginal effort and seems to seat smoothly. The name INVICTA is deeply engraved in the case side at the 9:00 position. The case size is listed in the below specs as 40mm but is actually 38mm and is nicely proportional to the band. The band itself has mirror polished center links with satin outer links. These outer links have mirror polished sides. The strap is graduated from 18mm at the case to 15mm at the clasp. The clasp itself is 19mm wide by 35mm long and is a standard double lock affair, well executed with no overtly protruding edges. The clasp finish is thoughtfully satin on top to hide the inevitable scratches with mirror polished sides and the INVICTA name and winged logo engraved across it. All adjusting spring loaded and wire pins seat solidly. The hour and minute hands are perfectly aligned to the hash marks with the second hand landing dead center of each marker as well. Set to the US atomic clock five days ago it has gained slightly less than one second in the interim. My single complaint is the date magnifier. It is poorly positioned and is not as strong as I would like. Bottom line: This is a classy dive watch with no visible manufacturing flaws executed in first class materials with what seems to be a stellar quartz movement. It feels and looks solid and compares with $300 and $400 time pieces without excuses. The 9204 would be a legitimate bargain at the MSRP of $195 and could sell comfortably for much, much more. Selling at $69 leaves me wondering if someone has made a terrible pricing mistake in the consumer's favor! ... show more

  • Gorgeous watch! And only $50??
Simply put, for the price they are charging, this watch is amazing! The color is truly unique. Depending on what type of light is hitting the watch (i.e. sunlight, fluorescent, or incandescent), it ranges from navy blue to deep bluish purple. The outer ring and the dial appear to be slightly different shades from each other (but VERY compatible). The colors are rich and brilliant. This provides a visual interest to the watch which draws your attention to it. I have a smaller arm/wrist, and the size of this watch is perfect. It's SO nice to have a men's watch that doesn't look like the gigantic watches that most jewelry counters have on display these days. The watchband width is very proportional to the watch size, and complements the watch nicely. The only complaint I have is that the clasp is very, very difficult to undo. In fact, the only way I can get this watch off is to use a paperclip to pry the clasp apart. Otherwise, this watch is worth every penny and then some. I've had the watch for 24 hours now, and from what I can tell, it has kept very accurate time, at most losing maybe half a second during that period of time. This is my first Invicta watch, and likely won't be the last. You will love it! ... show more

  • Makes a Nice Women's Watch as Well
I had purchased an Orient Ray which my wife seemed to admire. Although the Ray is a bit large and heavy for a ladies wristwatch, she asked if I would get her one. After handling my Ray a bit, she asked if there was a women’s version, unfortunately there wasn’t. Also, she discovered it was an automatic and she does not like the idea of having to wear a watch at least every odd day to keep it from running down. Worse still, she is completely opposed to having an automatic serviced every 5-10 years and regards any watch costing more than $200 as one of the biggest waste of money imaginable. So, I embarked on a search for a blue faced quartz analog divers style watch (that will likely never get wet), looks great, is larger than 28mm but not too large or heavy as to overwhelm a woman’s wrist. The Invicta 9204 seemed to fit the bill. The inexpensive $52 price tag didn’t hurt either. I probably should mention that I’m not a big Invicta fan. My biggest gripe with Invicta brand is their ridiculously high retail prices (always on sale up to 70% off) and the perception that Invicta puts a higher percentage of their manufacturing bucks into making their watches look good rather than work well and last long. This watch did not really do much to change my perceptions. It is very nice looking though, it’s not too large and is certainly lighter than the Ray with a similar appearance. It’s eye catching, looks more expensive than it is and conveys a little bit of casual adventuresome–ness, something that many women’s watches lack. I think the blue on the bezel is a little too light but she prefers it. Actually, she says she loves it. Like others have mentioned, I noticed that the setting movement has a bit of slop and it is hard to set the hands perfectly at the intended time. They tend to drift a bit when the crown is pressed down. Also, as expected I had to remove three links from the bracelet and the pins were unusually tight. They were the first retaining pins I ever encountered that were split down the center like little cotter pins. I have a cheap tool designed to remove the pins and it worked well but I can see where someone could really bugger up a band without the proper tools. Although supposedly a divers watch with a WR200M rating, I’m skeptical and I think anyone who takes this watch under the water is risking problems. For folks like my bride who are more attuned to style than actually diving, this should be perfect. Quartz watches are pretty reliable and this watch is likely to be accurate and if this watch lasts a few years it will be long enough to satisfy her. It fit her criteria perfectly and unlike most of my jewelry gifts, she seems to genuinely love it. Sooo, bang! Home Run! ... show more
