I love this mattress, for the price and the quality I don't know if it can be beat! There is absolutely no noise getting on and off (mine was temporarily on carpeting until my platform bed came today). I added a two inch latex topper to it which I already had, which added an extra layer of comfort. On the floor it was great, like a sleep number bed, once my topper was added. The velour surrounding it is awesome. Sheets cling to it very nicely! The size referenced in the ad 72x80x18 is pretty much spot on. A standard king is 76x80. I was hoping that the 4" wouldn't make a difference but it is quite a lot once I put the airbed on the platform (another reviewer suggested that if you are putting the airbed on a platform to use the cardboard from the packaging and once cut to size, put it on the platform slats, which I did and it seems to work great). I would probably be happy with it on my platform bed if I hadn't ordered one that is a full 18" tall. I pretty much have to climb up on the bed, so even though it is only 4" short (2" on each side), I decided I need to go with about a 10" airbed. Since I took a chance on this size, I'm not going to return it. It wouldn't be fair. They would probably have to throw it out due to Covid (that's what Big Lots does - toss the returns). So I'll keep the 18" mattress for my spare room. If it was shoddy mattress, I would return it, I took my chances with the size. I recommend this mattress. Remember inflate, deflate, inflate again and deflate maybe once more so it stretches a bit. You may have to add air every three days or so, but it's worth it. Not much air, just a little due to temperature changes etc. Maybe in another week it will settle into it's "happy spot" and added air won't be needed. It's so easy to add, I don't know why people complain. Intex is a good brand -- they have been around a long time! So now I'm off hunting down a 10-12 inch for my platform bed. Just got it. It can't tell you about the sleep quality yet. I will update you ... Air mattress quality as of right now. Freaking amazing I will update all the rest of the questions after using it a couple times But so far so good. It was easy to unfold Easy to blow up Definitely huge The whole size pretty damn big lol Extremely comfortable. I'm laying on it as I'm braiding the review I put it next to my other blow-up bed I am in the process of moving so they have already taken my furniture and beds so this is what I will be sleeping on for the next three nights No noise besides blowing it up with the air pump but that's a given I put it up next to my king size blow-up bed. I do believe what they have sent me is more of a queen which is disappointing The width might be a king but the length is definitely a queen

This air mattress has a built in pump that inflates fast and easy to use. You can make the mattress as soft or firm as you wish. I prefer it to be quite firm and this can match my preference. But with most air mattresses, it slowly deflates but that’s no problem as the pump is fast but I do wish the cord to it was a bit longer(I’ve had to keep an extension cord since the cord couldn’t reach the outlet). I’ve had kids jump on it, pets lay on it, multiple people on it, and this mattress has yet to be damage. It’s easy to set up and store away. I store it in the closet until I need to use it or move it to another room.

UNPROFESSIONAL AND NEGLIGENT OF PRODUCT DEFECTS. DO NOT PURCHASE PRODUCTS THROUGH THIS COMPANY. We ordered a brand new king size blow up mattress that we inflated at our destination. The mattress lost air within hours of being fully inflated. My husband and I had to sleep on a cement floor as a result. This is not a customer error. This is entirely a manufacture error and the company was negligent to take full responsibility. I was charged a restocking fee of $40. I am severely unhappy with their dismissal of our experience and lack of responsibility for their product. We will not be purchasing any products through INTEX company in the future. Wish there was a 0-star option.

I bought this air mattress in June 2024, and it was a really great air mattress for the most part. I used it as my bed and kept it inflated for as long as I could. It inflates pretty well, within less than five minutes. It was pretty comfortable; firm, yet comfortable enough to sleep on every night. It lasted me a year and four months before it finally gave out. I suspect there is a hole somewhere that is causing a leak. I had noticed over the year I've had this mattress that every 1-3 months, it would start to deflate enough that I needed to give it a quick inflate (about a minute at most). It would hold the air from there. There were only two times that I found it deflating, and found that the pump dial had turned to deflate. That probably happened from being up against a wall -- my tossing and turning probably pushed the dial against the wall and somehow turned it enough to cause it to audibly deflate suddenly. However, that only occurred twice, and hadn't been a problem since the last time it happened. Overall, this air mattress was great and lasted a good while. I now have to buy an air mattress with a sturdier material, in hopes of the new one lasting longer. I'd say this is a good air mattress to buy, but, just be careful of anything that could cause a tear or hole (even friction from movement on a hardwood floor might affect it over time). You'll get a good night's sleep on this as long as it lasts and is properly inflated. EDIT: I found the hole where the air is leaking out. It's a tiny hole on the side of the mattress. It's not on a seam, but, it's very close to a seam. Something might have punctured it or the material gave out, hard to know.

Its doing what it was made for. It holds air surprisingly well after one use no leak issues yet, its loud when pumping sure but worth it, comfortable of course and it looks well made by design. I recommend this product.

The Intex Dura-Beam Deluxe Comfort Plush air mattress is extremely comfortable and durable. It held my self, husband and daughter without issue! It didn’t come with much of an odor. Air retention quality: when we woke up we did have to add more air to it but it was because the mattress stretched but it wasn’t much. It’s very compact when folded up so it’s easy to travel with!

I ordered this for my parents to sleep on when they came down for Thanksgiving this year. We ended up not needing it because my parents purchased the same one and brought it with them. They slept on theirs for 5 nights and said it was extremely comfortable!! It didn’t need to be re-inflated once, it was high enough off the floor that it was easy to get in and out of, and is truly a king size mattress. I returned mine but they kept theirs and will absolutely use it again when needed. Absolutely recommend this product!
