The delivery was on time. The exact same size. However when I filled the battery with the included acid one of the plates was not completely covered. I added distilled water and topped off the plate. I also charged the battery and checked all the cells added a small amount of distilled water to each and checked the voltage. After installing and having a run time I will check back to indicate the time factor for dependability.

This battery met all expectations except filling the electrolyte. The bottles did not drain without extra effort. (Once one starts you cannot take the bottles back off. ) It seems the bottles need a better means to vent to allow air into the bottles as the acid drains into the battery. I have previously used batteries that come filled and sealed. The battery fit the battery compartment in my 2006 Honda ST1300. I cannot comment on longevity. I will be disappointed if I do not get 3 or 4 years out of this battery. I use a trickle charge in off months.

Updating previous review: After charging, the battery didn’t work, so I submitted a warranty request. The manufacturer said they would replace it but asked me to return it to an authorized dealer “IN ANOTHER STATE”. Trashing this thing and considering purchasing it as being a stupid tax. Purchased a Noco battery IT works great. Original Review: Don’t buy this unless you feel comfortable filling a battery with acid yourself. Also, it says it is leak proof in any position. We don’t trust that statement due to the the flimsy looking acid caps that the have to be just pushed on the nozzles after filling with acid. (Really feel there should be a locking mechanism on the caps.) We really wish we had just purchased a regular battery, that you just have to charge and use.

I live in rural northern California, with no Interstate battery supplier nearby. When I needed a new battery for a Polaris RZR, I bought this one. I didn't put it in right away, but that didn't matter because the battery isn't activated until the acid is installed -- and that's a very easy, clean process. After a brief time on a battery charger, the new battery was ready to go. I've always had good results from Interstate batteries and this one is no exception.
