Compré mi Kindle hace casi dos meses y, hasta ahora, ha sido la mejor inversión que he hecho en mí misma. Me encanta leer de noche antes de dormir, y no tener que depender de la luz de mi cuarto para hacerlo ha sido lo mejor. Me encanta poder leer cuando quiera y como quiera (honestamente ahora leo más que antes, incluso en mis breaks del trabajo), consultar definiciones de palabras que desconozco sin hacer una mayor interrupción de mi lectura (esto ha sido game-changing para mí), poder guardar notas y extractos que me gustaron o para consultar más adelante, graduar la calidez y nivel de brillo dependiendo de mi entorno, tener acceso a todos los libros en un solo lugar, que sea tan ligero que puedo sostenerlo con una sola mano (lo agradezco especialmente cuando estoy tirada en el mueble leyendo). Además, meterle libros que ya había comprado o guías que debo leer del trabajo no es nada complicado, y acepta una gran variedad de formatos que, hasta el momento, se ven todos muy bien. Como dije antes, ahora estoy leyendo mucho más, y también es porque la pantalla es increíble. La tecnología de tinta (si no me equivoco se llama así) hace que de verdad parezca un libro e incluso un poco mejor. No te cansa la vista (como usuaria de gafas y trabajadora remota que depende de usar su computadora todo el día, esto es un enorme beneficio) tampoco siento que tenga que hacer un gran esfuerzo visual para leer (dependiendo del formato, puedes adaptar el tamaño de la letra al que sea más cómodo para ti). Puedo seguir enumerando las razones por las que, hasta ahora, he amado cada segundo con mi Kindle. Y estoy segura que, a medida que siga descubriendo features, voy a poder sacarle más provecho. De las cosas que he notado, la animación de la pantalla puede ser ligeramente lenta, pero siendo honesta es algo casi imperceptible. La batería tiene muy buena duración (solo lo he cargado una vez en estos dos meses, y aún le queda suficiente batería para durar un poco más). Aún tengo aventurarme un poco más en cómo organizar mi biblioteca de libros y funciones, pero por los momentos no me arrepiento ni un poco.

This is my 7th Kindle as I gift them to family as well as upgrade my own. This edition retains the excellent quality of all previous versions. It is slightly larger than the last version, which may be better for home reading. Still not a bad size for travel either. Backlit screen makes low-light and night-time reading easy and discrete.

Excelente experiencia. No soy un asiduo lector, sin embargo, este Kindle ha despertado en mi la curiosidad por leer. Es muy agradable y cómodo leer en él, lo he disfrutado mucho. La amplia biblioteca y la economía para obtener libros de toda clase es una opción imposible de rechazar. Todo lo que había leído acerca de su desempeño y sus características me convencieron para adquirirlo y ahora que lo tengo estoy totalmente satisfecho, pues realmente cumple a cabalidad con su propósito. Sería muy interesante, para éste modelo, la implementación de unas teclas físicas para desplazamiento de páginas, pues debido a su pequeño marco lateral es muy fácil cambiar de página o páginas accidentalmente, a veces me pierdo por este motivo; la parte inferior dispone de buen espacio para este propósito. Espero en un futuro la implementación de una pantalla a color pues es agradable ver las portadas de los libros en color y para algunos libros técnicos eso es indispensable. Por ahora lo seguiré disfrutando y sacándolo el máximo provecho, no solo al Kindle sino también a la lectura en general.

Es un regalo para mi esposa, ella tiene una 2015 en perfectas condiciones pero ella quería una nueva por la pantalla oscura, el problema es que esta nueva Kindle se raya la pantalla con nada, con solo la funda de protección ya se rayo la pantalla, nos pareció de muy mala calidad los materiales de la pantalla y demás porque es como una silicona y se va dañando, se pela los laterales de la kindle

I have been wanting to update my basic Kindle for some time now, but finally bit the bullet and have purchased this paperwhite version with no adds. It was incredibly easy for me to complete the set-up already done as part of the international version purchase. I was easily and intuitively able to download my existing Kindle library of books. I have bought a neat leather-like cover to protect it. My only comment of a slightly negative nature is that the touch screen is not very responsive. I don't have large fingers, but found the touch accuracy not all that good. But overall, this has been a great upgrade for me.
