I was very surprised that this is actually a much better value than the Tractor Supply "Stack-On" cabinets, since it has a keypad and soft rifle barrel holders. So long as your package arrives without any damage to the thin metal, this is a very good buy if you're looking for a gun cabinet. The metal is very thin and will definitely not stop someone determined to pry it open, but to keep your armory away from kiddo hands, this is a very good deal. The media could not be loaded. Firstly, instructions aren't only obscure, parts of it are wrong. For instance look at part N in the photos. Now look at Part N. The instructions dont even know which part is what. They obviously <screwed> that up... Putting it together was a nightmare. The top piece was damaged with a bend extruding making it impossible to fit into place. I decided just to try and bend it back with a hammer which did the job as best it could... It only gets worse from there. WARNING. DO NOT LOCK YOUR THINGS IN WITHOUT SETTING UP THE DIGITAL CODE... I unfortunately did not do that. I put about $1400 dollars worth of rifles and belongings and well... they are locked in there. As you can see in the video, the key is jammed. I have spent hours trying to get the key loose. It feels like the key lock mechanism fell apart internally but I cannot know for certain. The funny part is that the QUALITY of this safe is SO BAD, if it comes to it, I can break in. A few hard hits with a hammer and I can get through the top or bottom panel with ease. That being said, if you are looking for a safe to keep thief's and lock picks out, DO NOT BUY THIS. It can only keep children out... we'll hopefully. I'm hoping the safe I got is only a defect, but with how many things went wrong, I doubt it. Would not recommend! ... show more

I purchased this a couple Months back. Just assembled it today. I did it by myself. Is it the best no. It will do what I need. Secure my firearms from Children and visitors. Left the shelf out so I could fit my long guns. What I did not like is a few pieces were slightly bent not much . Instructions were so so. We live in a semi-remote area. Intergreat 10-12 safe. For the price i believe this to be a good choice. Regardless of the small issues i came across i still give it 5 stars (Price). Shipping box claims the item to be about 84 pounds. One of the bolts and threaded sleeves were misaligned, required some manipulation (Use a dremill). I purchased this safe for the same reason as everybody else. Its cheap and I needed a safe place to lock items. When I unpacked the product, it had dents in several panels. After reading other reviews, the first thing I did before assembling was test the lock and key. It was jammed. The key would not turn all the way and the lock cylinder would not actuate. I read through more reviews and decided I would assemble it and try to resolve the issue after. Getting it together was not too difficult with a helping hand on standby to hold it from falling while getting the sides together. The photos in the instructions aren't the best but common sense goes a long way. Some things needed to be forced, I found an impact driver and extended Philips bit helped. After assembling the safe I opened up the back of the door/locking panel on the inside. You just have to remove the fabric keeper and some screws and it comes right off. The problem with mine was that the lock was jammed (I assume from shifting during shipping) and I was able to grab it from inside and force it to lock. After that it has been working properly. The padlock and key both work. This is not a robust safe by any means. The metal is very thin and I'm sure it could be broken into with a hammer. It will keep children out and hopefully deter theft to an extent. I recommend it for the price, if you can accept the dents and expect to have to work through some kinks. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. For the price, it’s very decent. Simple to assemble. I put it together all by myself. The sides and back panels are flimsy but once assembled it seems to be sturdy. front door is very heavy due to the locking mechanism inside. Once you secure to the wall with the provided hardware, it’s solid as rock. It hold about 5-6 rifle comfortably, not 10 like advertised. The foam insert for rifle is too short so the scope would hit the back wall. No problem if you can be a little creative with 3D printing. ... show more

It technically speaking works and will do the job , but it is missing Shelves and is not exactly whats pictured none of the bolts for the interior gun rack mounts line up but they do also clip in so I doubt they'll actually fall but something to note. Would recommend looking elsewhere the bottom of the cabinet also didn't really bolt in so it kinda just sits inside (clips in) but no bolt holes are actually cut in the bottom ... show more

I wanted a gun cabinet to hold a few guns as I was running out of room in a few older safes. The sheet metal quality on this unit is essentially a tiny bit better than an aluminum can. I picked up the door section on the side and the sheet metal bent like a leaf in the wind. I think the instructions for the safe was for a different product as there were mislabeled pieces and things just did not go together as the instructions or videos suggested. Cant get the lock to close for the life of me. The holes for a top shelf were a mystery as they seemed to be for an entirely different product. Lock mechanism programing did not work as well. The unit is not locking up at all. Going to have to buy a hinge to put on a padlock. This thing is horrible. ... show more
