I drive a 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt LS coupe. My car was prompting the codes P0011 & P0012. It was driving and idling really rough. After research, I cleaned out the actual parts and replaced, but that did not resolve the issue. Bought these and they arrived next day. Quality seems good, (I am not a mechanic by any means so take that with a grain of salt, but I know my way around my vehicle overall). I oiled them up a bit, replaced and then changed the oil. I didn't want to spend three times the amount for OEM parts so I bought these and took a chance. The price difference is $60 between the two so it's easy to get sucked in to buying the cheaper ones. Some people reported they worked fine on their car and saved money, however, I immediately had issues after installing both on my 2015 Chevy Equinox. The throttle was lagging from a stop at times and it stalled out of nowhere as I was leaving a parking lot during test driving. So, having gone against my better judgement, I ordered the AC Delco versions and ate the cost for these cheaper parts (can't return them as they're used as soon as you install them. not to mention saturated in oil). The codes I observed that led to this replacement were P0011 and P0014 (images attached). The first part replaced though was the camshaft actuator sensor. The check engine came back on so I decided to replace both the intake and exhaust camshaft solenoids. The images also show a comparison between the visual differences in these cheaper parts and the OEM ones. It appears the circular, inside part is recessed and has a larger diameter compared to OEM replacement. Having replaced both just today and resetting the codes, I'm not 100% sure the problem is resolved. I hope the engine light doesn't come back on because I'm not sure where to go from there. ... show more
