My check engine light came on. It was a Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid code. Amazon had these in stock, for an excellent price. Plug and play... They fit perfectly. No more check engine light.

  • Simple Easy Quick Fix-Take my Wife Please
2015 Equinox: After putting my car on the computer at O'R---ly's from throwing a check engine and stalling when going slowly I was told my fuel pump was going out. I figured. "F" it. I have tow insurance. When it dies I'll just have it towed to my house. No since in pulling the tank and spending $500 today. Well, it never went out. It was fine some days and worse others. Then one day I hit a deer. After a month in the shop the car came back to me lookin' great. The shop did an amazing job. But after a day the check engine light came back on and it started stalling again. So I ran to a diffrent parts store. Computer came up the Cam Shaft Position Actuator. Ordered it Sunday night. Got it on Monday. Took about 45 minutes to install (would have been 15 if my wife hadn't nicely reorganized my tools leaving wondering where my GD 10mm socket and converter had gone to). The Equinox runs better than ever now. ... show more

  • P0011 Code on our 15 GMC Terrain 2.4l
Our 15 gmc terrain would randomly stall out in reverse, able to fire right back up, then try to die again. Maybe 3 times a month. At lights on those same days it would stall, it would jerk/lunge of sorts. Finally after 4-6mo of this off and on (again only maybe 3 times a month) a cel came on. P0011, Camshaft position threshold blah blah. Local parts store was 120, Here 25. Put them in, issue solved and code cleared up itself. Recommend for a quick and easy fix. Lift the intake off the Throttle body, oil cap and engine cover, then 2 10mm (one per solenoid) bolts, pliers to pull them up from their seating, and swap. Took 10 minutes. ... show more

  • Do not buy
Do yourself a favor and if you rely on your vehicle to get to work like most of us buy factory AC Delco solenoids. I replaced mine with these because the engine light was on for them. Immediately noticed rough idle when there was no issue. Car would jerk and lunge when sitting at stop lights. I still had the original ones sitting at home so I swapped them back out and car is driving perfectly again. Again these will get the engine light to go out but will cause the vehicle to run very poorly. ... show more
