I bought these a couple years ago and just got around to use them. They were the cheapest aluminum heads at the time I bought them. I used 1.7 height springs with standard height valves with 510 lift. They’re installed on a 383 stroker

I purchased these heads to replace 1.94 camel hump heads on my SBC 327. Overall these aluminum heads look and appear to be good quality. Assembly of these heads went smoothly when I purchased a head improvement kit from Competition Products. I DID NOT run into any alignment issues with pushrods or guideplates. I did lose about an inch of vacuum at idle with these heads however, I can only assume this was due to the larger intake runners and valves. Overall these heads have performed well and only time will tell their durability. Definitely a great option for the "Garage Build" enthusiast and a good alternative to the high-end brand name. ... show more

It took a little time to get all the correct parts for the heads to get together to put on engine. When I got it running it leaks oil out of both heads lower front on both. I got another set of new gaskets and tested again, Still have a oil leak. No response from the seller after a week, still waiting. ... show more
