Item arrived as described although I could tell it was slightly used. That said, all of the pieces went together really well except for one of the doors, where the snap on the outside of the unit is broken and won't hold. The doors are also hard for our outdoor cats to enter into since they don't give that well in the cold weather. That said, it's a very nice spot for outdoor animals to go into. Really easy to assemble and hopefully the Feral cats will use it. Even came with metal pegs to put into the ground to hold it down in case of wind.

We got this for our feral cat. He doesn't let anyone touch him and refuses to come inside, even when it's freezing out. This stays pretty warm even with the door flaps off. I had to remove the flaps because it seems fairly impossible for a cat to go through them? Kinda odd, and the cat had no interest in trying. But the doors just snap right off, and with no doors he was happy to nap inside. I like that this has two doors, so if the problem raccoons were to try to ambush him, he could go out the back. Don't have to worry about any stand-offs or cats getting trapped. ... show more

Usually, I don’t buy things unless there are lots of reviews, but I took the plunge on this, and I’m glad I did. We put plastic over it to protect it from the rain, using using clamps to secure it. We keep it plugged in outside, and it’s been heating continuously for a month. My cat immediately loved it, and often prefers to be in it rather than inside (she is a short hair). My only complaint would be that the plastic door flaps bend and stay warped, so cold air gets inside. ... show more

Because the house did not fit well together, I decided to keep it inside for my kitties. The Velcro roof did not attach securely enough to the sides and left a large gap on one side. I also do not think the cord for the heating pad is weatherproof. This house is better for a barn or garage but not directly outside. Good news though, my inside cats are enjoying it. ... show more
