The media could not be loaded. I have owned every Insta360 360 camera so far (with the exception of the Titan). This is the best one yet, as it should be. But it is a product that shows that Insta360 listens to their customers. 8K is the big headline item and it gives you the highest resolution yet in a consumer 360 camera. When you reframe (which is changing the view after recording - all in the amazing Insta360 mobile app or the Studio app for computers), you get 2.7k video. This is perfect for how most of this kind of footage is consumed - online and in social media. The battery life is much better than before. It comes with lens guards to make sure you don’t damage the actual lens - and the footage still looks great. The overall photo and video quality is really really great! Please note that it does not come with a selfie stick but is compatible with them to give you that awesome angle of the stick eliminated from the video. This makes it look like you have a personal cameraman or a drone with you wherever you go - but you actually have all you need in a pocket! It is more rugged than the X3 and feels much better in the hand. The display is a bit larger than before and has gorilla glass to keep it in better shape for longer. All in all, this is an incredible camera that I don’t like to reduce to just being an action camera - it is more like the perfect lifestyle camera because it’s ready and tough enough to shoot your life wherever you are. ... show more

    • Grainy photos even in great light
Trying this out for real estate 360 photos and its seriously nowhere near the quality you see on the Youtube influencer demos. Im not running everything through Topaz and then redoing Exif data just to get an "OK" looking result. Taking pictures of small to medium sized rooms should be no big deal for this camera but even with excellent lighting, the noise and lack of detail is just too much. I had the very first Theta about 7 years ago and this honestly isnt much better. ... show more

    • As a cyclist, GoPro is now dead to me.
I have been a loyal customer of GoPro since 2010. Formerly, I purchased and immediately returned an Insta360 product due to the very immature software that is necessary for 360 action cameras to be useful. That is now completely not the case. This camera has battery life for days and, amazing quality video that can be zoomed in quite a bit without losing Fidelity. The mobile phone app as well as the desktop app are fully featured without bugs and without stuttering a video. This product has completely redefined how I think I can shoot and ways of creating new content as a Cyclist. For me, The cameras wait is too much to be helmet mounted. But an under saddle, mount or out front mount are still stable. Although, if you are running this camera under a Garmin or hammerhead out front mount, I would suggest attaching a strap just in case the amount fails. Pros: Build quality Image quality Battery life Ease and robustness of software. Field of view not limited to your typical action camera. Cons: 360 cameras are still vulnerable to lens damage By once, cry once Learning curve for 360 content creation Invisible stick is a mandatory purchase Yep, there’s really no cons that I’ve experienced ... show more
