I have a bit of experience with the different levels of fake grass. This sits in the middle of the pack, between the best artificial grass and the old AstroTurf. It has longer blades of grass than AstroTurf, but doesn't have as realistic blades of grass as the best imitation grass. You can see it's color and shape contrasted against real grass in one of my photos. It has a rubberized back, with drain holes, like the more expensive fake grass. It feels like a mid-quality all around. Depending on what you're going for, this might work for your needs.

This looks great! I was pleasantly surprised by how nice this turned out, especially looking close up. This company did a great job making this look real, especially the closer you look. My dogs love running on it and we love that they aren't getting covered in mud through that area where we cannot get grass to grow. We also like that ou shoes don't get muddy either. Now I want to get one more to go the entire length of that area.

Installed the Homietina turf on my balcony, and it does add a nice, green touch. The thickness is decent, making it comfortable for pets. However, up close, it lacks the natural look I was hoping for. Great for utility, but aesthetically, it’s a bit off from real grass

I laid this out in a strip of yard that has always been a problem area that was difficult to take care of. It was a narrow strip between two different concrete slabs where there is high foot traffic. This was easy to trim up and put in place, and looks awesome. I am happy with the softness and realistic look of this, and it comes with a lot of square feet for larger projects like this.

We have some dogs that get a bit muddy sometimes. We bought this to put on our porch so they have a bit of a rub down on their paws before they track all the mud into the house. This thing works extremely well. Feels much like fake grass but not astroturf. The durability is pretty solid and it stretches decently well for what I needed it.

I like to use grass rugs where I have my cat's litter boxes on the back patio. They seem to love to lie on the grass in the sunshine and it makes it a lot easier to clean up the back porch from the inevitable tracked/spilled litter. The grass is thicker than the last one I purchased, and it's pretty soft. The cats definitely like it.
