The media could not be loaded. I bought the Insta360 one R two weeks ago and it’s amazing. I went wakeboarding with this camera with my friends and it captured all the fun time with high-quality pictures and videos. It has very impressive stability while moving and it’s definitely waterproof. With the phone app, it is really easy for us to access, edit, and share the footage. I and my friends took videos with each other all time and the camera definitely boosted the whole experience of the trip. I absolutely fell in love with this camera after this trip. I would recommend insta360 one R if you are a fan of outdoor activities. I’m already excited to use it to shoot footages of skiing in the winter. As for the overheating problem mentioned in some comments, I would say it is fine for me. Overheating is a common problem for sports cameras and I haven’t found any issues of my camera caused by overheating. Plus you hold the camera though the bracket instead of hands, so from my perspective overheating doesn’t affect the experience of using it. ... show more

I was thinking about buying an action cam for a long while and I accidentally came across some video about this camera on FB. The modular design is really sick. I have never seen any action camera with modularity before. I used the 4K mod for vlogging and the 360 mod for running. It turns out that the stabilisation performs very great, even when I was running in the woods and jumping over the tree trunks. What really surprised me is that the One R app has a lot of different tutorials and editing features. The AI tracking is amazing. It automatically helps me with the editing job, so I can directly share the footage with just a few tabs! Very nice and smart action camera! Overall it will worth every bucket it costs!     • Touchscreen is easy to use and so far the 4k image looks fine. It gets extremely hot when recording.
I got my camera a few days ago and just did a battery test by sitting it down and letting it record from a full charge. About 30 minutes later it beeped and showed the battery was low. Picking it up it looked like the recording was interrupted since the time counter showed only 12 minutes and the camera module that contains the core parts was almost burning to the touch. The module with the 4k lense and three better were room temperature. No idea if that will cause premature failure running at a temperature that high. Charging now the whole camera has cooled down. My house is 70° so I wonder how it would hold up outside in the summer. ... show more

Best camera for action/adrenaline junkies. 100x better than GoPro and more bang for your buck. Great for MotoVlogging and any action shots. I was a gopro fustion user before and I wanted to upgrade my camera. I bought the One R because it has two different lenses but with a lower price than the gopro max. I would say, this camera worths the money. It is very easy to use. I’ve spent a few days on trying both lenses, the app and the desktop software. What impressed me the most is the app. It has different editing templates and tracking function, so I just need to import the video and choose the one I want. Overall it is ok however the 4k camera is really bad. Nowhere near Gopro's high quality recording. This camera is ok to use the 360. They need to improve the whole package. If you are planning to record in low light environment, even outdoor, it is not good at all. 360 camera is much better than the 4k extension, that's weird. I don't know why I waited so long, have been eyeing this since February. Well, the holiday sale certainly helped. This camera is amazing and with the available features, picked this over the Hero 9. Using this for vlogging & soon for doing virtual real estate tours. The app is the ace in the hole here, you don't need a computer to edit& upload to your favorite social media sites Save yourself some money & buy a kid on amazon like the Neewer one for about $25 which has every mount you'll ever need. The modular design is definitely the killer feature of this camera. I use the 4K lens for making vlogs and the 360 lens is perfect recording my hikes. The battery life is a bit underwhelming, but additional battery packs are light-weight and easy to replace. The image quality is also very decent. The videos are very stable and the images are also vivid and detailed (see attached). The app is also a pleasure to use, whether I want to adjust the filter or to quickly edit the full video for posting on social media. Very happy with the purchase. ... show more
