Really fun camera. I like that it’s meant to be an action camera for casual, short filming but the housing this retro bundle is sold with is very clever and puts a twist on the usage of the camera. I wish the battery on the camera unit was better (max run time is estimated at 37 min of filming) but it makes sense for such a tiny and powerful device.

I’ve been looking at this camera going back and forth for a few weeks now and finally decided to do it. It finally arrived and unfortunately I was disappointed to not find the additional NFC skin in the box with the rest of the accessories. Of course I had ordered this for an event which then prevented me from using it since I was going to need to send it back for the replacement. Received the replacement and once again, NO extra skin. I looked at so many reviews and videos on here and tiktok and YouTube literally everywhere to verify if it was supposed to be included, as the wording on “what’s included” is a bit misleading. You can clearly see others reviews on here with the extra skin in a separate plastic in the box with the accessories. This may seem trivial but for the price of this already being on the higher end imo I expect to receive what I am seeing everyone else receive, esp since I opted for the pricier bundle out of the two. Currently emailing with the company and they’re basically trying to tell me it’s only the 1 preinstalled. You can’t even buy the skin separately, if you could maybe I wouldn’t be such a Karen about it, but then again why should I have to spend even more money on something that should’ve been included in the first place. I’m a pretty reasonable customer, but getting less that what you’re seeing others get in the box is confusing and frustrating. Even just admitting “yes that was included for the first batch as a gift but no longer included” or something would be sufficient because at least that would be a decent reason. I’m still debating if I want to just keep it or if this has left such a bad taste in my mouth I don’t even want one of their products anymore. Will update this once the company gives me a final answer, but for future buyers I guess don’t expect the additional NFC Skin. I will say the camera itself is beautiful and seems to be made well, no opinion on quality yet but I do trust it’s pretty good. Hope to come back with a better rating :/ EDIT: After some back and forth with the company via email they confirmed the extra piece was a special gesture for the first batch that went out. I appreciate the prompt enough response but it did take a couple of days to get to that confirmation. I will prob keep it because with good lighting the photos came out nicely and I could benefit from using it hands-free for videos. The battery life does drain pretty quickly and I’m pretty much just using it for a few pictures. It does also get warm. Solid 4/5 stars though it’s fun for what I wanted it for.

Love this little bundle, I already had the Go 3 and it's action pod so getting the camera and a battery pack was a great addition. The Go 3S camera also works with the Go 3 action pod so I didn't need the other newer one. Love the view finder and the new filters that you can use once you connect with the app. Great addition to my rotation of cameras

It’s a cool idea, but definitely hard to get used to due to the fact that it dies quickly without the extra battery and you have to hold it without pressing the shutter button. Can’t put it in your pocket because then it’ll turn on. Lanyard is the way but personally…..I don’t like lanyards. It’s very unfortunate but like I said, cool. Not for everyone. Definitely wasn’t for me.

I really wanted to buy this camera because I thought it was cute, and it kept showing up in my Instagram ads. However, I decided to return it because I didn't find much added value. Here are my pros and cons: PROS - It's small - The vintage style with the viewfinder is cute - The app edits photos well - Magnetic accessories for POV shots - Image and sound quality are OK (but nothing extraordinary) CONS - The battery lasts a very short time, especially if you shoot video, even if you use the included extra charger. - Switching from photo to video mode is somewhat tricky — even though it only requires pressing one button, sometimes the camera would start recording when I only wanted a photo, or it would turn off. - It heats up - Since you can't see the image on the camera itself, you depend heavily on the app, which I found very tedious to use. Every time you open it, you have to sync the camera. - If you want to take vertical photos, the viewfinder isn't much help. I'd recommend buying it if you have money to spare and want a camera you can hang like a keychain on your bag or backpack to take a few photos on your trips, and if you like the vintage viewfinder style. But if you're looking for something more comfortable and professional for photos and videos, I don't think this would be the best option. P.S. If you do buy it, don't forget to turn off the watermark in the app or when exporting your photos — otherwise all of them will have the Insta360 mark at the bottom.

I own the GO3, Ace Pro 2, One RS, Flow 2 so I’m a big fan of Insta360. Saw the ads for the new retro Go3S and immediately ordered. Small but mighty, once you learn the process to shoot it’s a whole lot of fun. Make sure to look for the sun shade accessory as it really helps when shooting outdoors. You can find online. Images are sharp, the experience of taking photos and videos is fun when having to wait to see the outcomes!
