I have been using this camera since March so I can say now I’m ready to talk about this camera. The Insta360 Ace Pro 2 is a newer and more advanced camera, designed to offer professional-quality 360-degree video and photo capture. This camera is ideal for content creators who need a complete solution to capture and share immersive experiences. Yes, the Insta360 Ace Pro 2 is designed to be easy to use. It usually comes with intuitive software and simple controls, both to capture and to edit your images and videos. In addition, it usually has guides and tutorials that help users make the most of the camera without complications. If you have an Apple Watch you can use as a remote control as well. You can use gestures as the palm of your hand to start recording, voz commander, and another gestures to control the camera. But you need to install the app to make everything that I said, I’m using it on my iPhone 13 Pro Max and I didn’t have any issues, the app is really nice and give many options of editions like a preview of your whole video where you choose which parts of the records that you want to use. The battery last long enough for the whole day, if you are not recording in the maximum resolution and in a hot weather of course. It will drain faster but the Insta360 ace pro 2 doesn’t overheat like GoPro that is almost impossible for me to use in Brazil Rio Rio de Janeiro because is too hot for GoPro, anyway it doesn’t have any competition with insta360 Ace pro 2. The only came right now I can say that is the DJI 5 pro, I have and I love it too. And one of downside of the insta360 is the screen, you need to move it all the time that you want to record yourself. With DJI it has a front screen view. And the price is almost the same between this combo with just 2 batteries it comes only with one camera magnet and a cut out wind, that I couldn’t remove it since that I bought. It is like it’s stuck. Both cameras are good insta360 records in 8k and DJI 5 pro 4k. But being honest I don’t see a difference on it between the 2 ones. The quality of image between both are excellent. Insta360 ace pro 2, You can record and pause your recording and start recording again and it of course will take more battery too. The pre programmed features is time lapse, star trails, and a few others. I loved this camera, the app but I the value with only this accessories the camera comes with and you can buy only one camera, I would get the DJI pro 5.

I purchased this AFTER I had purchased the DJI Pocket 3, and the DJI Action 5. I hadn't purchased the X5 yet, but now that I do own it, I'll add my two cents on all of them in a quick summery. So the Insta 360 Ace Pro 2 produces a fantastic image at 8K, and is pretty much on par with the DJI Action 5 at 4K. As I always say with most of these Action Cameras, all things are sharp in the image (the subject, the back round, everything around it too). You won't get any kind of blurry bokeh with this unit unless you do some post processing using some Video Applications on your PC or MAC. If you want that blurry back round effect, you're going to need to go the route of the DJI Pocket 3 at a lower F Top. I'd say the Battery Life on this is a solid 7 out of 10, and you're not going to get the length of the DJI Action 5 with this Ace Pro 2. I will say that the Ace Pro 2 has a better night capabilities, and doesn't produce as much noise like the Action 5 does at night. If you haven't purchased an action camera yet, and are torn say between THIS Ace Pro 2 and the newly released Insta 360 X5, I honestly would go for the X5 because there are just simply way more features out of the box, and the app that you can utilize with it is simply amazing. If you already have the Ace Pro 2 in your possession, and are just getting buyers remorse before you even open the box, don't worry you've scored. It's still being praised almost every week on YouTube for it's image quality, and they have firmware updates as well. I think the Ace Pro 2 is a super duper good investment for those wanting an amazing image, and the ability for an 8K Mode as well. It doesn't have internal memory in it like the DJI Action 5 (which a minus on the point scale), but you could always get a relatively cheap Micro SD at almost 1T or 500 GB and be fine, and it won't break your bank. All in all, this Device (The Ace Pro 2) is amazing, and YES I would buy it all over again. Many accessories for it as well, and I'd strongly suggest RIGHT OFF THE BAY getting a cage for it to protect it, and a screen and lens protector as well so you don't scratch either one. :)

This camera is solid AF. I have already dropped it with no issues, cracks, dents. Glad I got insurance but dont need it yet. besides that. This camera is a workhorse. Lightweight so its super easy to carry around and pop out when I want to use it. (Lens cover is a must) I have put this battery to the the test and its lasted almost a whole day at 4K with turning it on and of for specific things. I love the 2x optical zoom at 4k using the 8k chip. I haven't used 8k much yet except for utilizing the 2x zoom. Love the pure video mode Feature. For night and low light shots its been great. I live in Chicago where its cloudy and dark often through the year. So having an easy to access camera that still pulls its weight at night is great. Besides the rain we get I dont use it around water too much. But will update if I put the waterproof capabilities to the test. The mounting on this camera is solid too. I feel so secure when its locked in. I will get some photos and a video up soon. Just slow to it, but wanted to leavea review before I forgot. Fun camera for seriously any adventure.

I bought this for diving, and it's totally worth it! The color reproduction is fantastic, with footage looking pretty much like what you see with your own eyes, way better than my previous gopros. If you want even better colors, there's the aquavision feature in the app you can use. I’m also a big fan of ace pro 2's low light capabilities. The footage looks great even in dark underwater conditions. Love the flip screen too! It’s super handy for framing selfies when I’m not using the dive case (heads-up: it doesn’t flip with the case on, but that’s a tiny trade-off). If you’re serious about underwater filming, this camera won’t disappoint.
