Frequently asked questions

The rechargeable hand warmers typically last between 8 to 15 hours on a single charge, depending on the heat setting used. With a 10000mAh capacity, lower settings will yield longer heat duration, while the highest setting will consume power faster.

It is not recommended to use the hand warmers while they are charging as it can decrease the battery life and potentially pose a safety risk. Always ensure the hand warmers are disconnected from the charger before use.

Yes, the hand warmers are designed to be safe for carrying in your pocket. They have a smooth surface and are made from materials that are safe against skin and fabric. However, ensure they are not too hot for direct contact with skin or sensitive materials when in use.

The hand warmers typically come with an easy-to-use button or switch that allows you to adjust between the 3 heat settings. Pressing the button sequentially will switch between low, medium, and high temperature settings to provide the desired warmth.

  • greatest outdoor electronics purchase of my life
Color: Black
THE FACTS: The device is palm-sized for me (my hand is 7.75in/19.7cm long and 3.75in/9.5cm wide at widest). It's roughly 1.25in/3.2cm thick, 3.5in/8.9cm wide, and 4in/~10.2cm long. It weighs around 3 ounces/85g. THE PROS: - Heats up extremely fast - Lasts a hell of a long time - You never need it above the lowest heat setting, extending battery life - The magnets are extremely useful for keeping it all together/situated - Decent power delivery for a tiny powerbank. Charged my iPhone 14 Pro Max with several apps running from 59% to 62% in 5 minutes, and then from 62% to 64% in another 5 minutes using a high-quality Anker USB-to-Lightning cable. 5% in 10 minutes ain't bad for a phone with a huge battery. - Fairly rugged. I had them in my hoodie while climbing big boulders in the Sierra Nevada mountains, and they handled being dropped, being in my hoodie while I fell, and plenty of dirt and grit without any perceivable issues. I even made a dent in one of them and have noticed zero functionality change. - The cable ports are well-placed, easily accessible. Some other electric hand warmers have the ports placed kinda awkwardly. The Cons: - The curved edge delivers the best heat, while the flat magnetic edge is seemingly a little more insulated from the heating element. This means that if you have one of them in a hand, you have to choose between warming your palm and warming your fingers. You can of course get around this by just rotating it about the long axis in your hand every now and then. If the two pieces are magnetically locked together, they can heat palm AND fingers, but then your other hand is receiving no heating. - The provided charging cables are meh, a little short and not that much throughput, leading to awkward charging at a low rate. Worth buying some better cables, like Anker's 15W USB-to-USB-Cs: https://a.co/d/bXAc82r - The drawstring bag they they come with is pretty basic. It would be nice if they provided a hard-sided nylon zippered case to prevent debris from getting into the devices and for peace of mind when knocking around in a backpack. Something akin to this: https://a.co/d/ac66Sug THE STORY I bought these shortly before a trip to Bishop, California, at the Happy Boulders (4,214 ft/1285m elevation) in early December 2023, to test them before heading to Gold Beach, Oregon for five days later in the month. By day I climbed rocks in weather from 28F/-2.2C to 58F/14.4C, by night I slept in my car at temperatures down to 22F/-5.6C. During the day, I had these in my hoodie or puffy jacket front pockets at the lowest heat setting. They were extremely welcome, warming up my fingers between climbs on cold rock. When I bruised/injured my hands on one gnarly climb, the heat made them feel much better. I let other climbers try them throughout the day and they quickly saw the usefulness. One even bought a set for himself on the spot. The only issue was that within my pockets, if they hadn't just heated up the clothes in general, I had to rotate the devices in my hands every so often to warm both my fingers and my palms, as the flat sides don't provide as much heat as the curved edges. Putting them together again with the magnets fixed that issue as the entire surface area was now heated, but that leaves the other hand cold. I'm heavily considering just buying a second set for that purpose. If I knew I was going to be using my hands for a while, I just turned them off, since they heat up again extremely quickly once turned back on. This saved a lot of battery life, though I never really sweat the battery life since I never went above the lowest setting. During the night, as I chilled in my car eating food or driving between the climbing area/town/my campsite, I charged them off my car. When I slept, I sometimes did so wearing a hoodie with the devices in my hoodie pocket. It was great for keeping my core warm under my blanket, or for stowing my hands as I slept. Overall, great product. I'm evangelizing all my outdoorsy friends. DISCLAIMER: I am not sponsored by this product's maker, nor any company mentioned or linked in this review. • Decent for a Hand Warmer
Color: Black
Id like to say from the start this is a good product for as cheap as I got it on cyber monday. Anything more wouldnt be worth it. The hand warmer part of it is great with three settings which achieves the goal it sets out to be. It has two parts held together with a weakish magnet but mainly just to store them together wouldnt carry them on a singular side as theyll easily fall apart. Powerbank cords themseleves dont charge other devices well other cords with double ended usb c is best however. Beyond that would purchase as a handbag gift or secret santa item. Weight is nice, good for outdoor use, and their wallet sized. ... show more

  • This item has clearly been used* revised review*
Color: Blue
Bought this item on sale new and it has clearly been used and abused. Came in sealed packaging, charging ports are all scratched up so it's noticeable it has been used. Skuffs and scratches all over the product,I am not happy. Hard to tell if this is a good product when I cannot for sure tell if this product is even working the way it is supposed to. Seems to warm.up definitely not warm enough on the highest setting to keep my hands warm in my pockets with the new england weather. Looks like amazon was at fault for shipping me a used item, the seller immediately reached out and sent a new device. Was recieved quickly and in new condition. Hand warmers charge quickly and warm up nice. The temperature is not that warm even on the highest setting but I do like that they have duel purpose. I would not recomend these if you live in the Appalachian areas or anywhere it gets negative temperatures but they are, OK better than nothing. ... show more

  • Warms Hands Fast. Great for Reynaud's
Color: Green
My mother has Reynaud Syndrome, and entirely aside from that, hates the cold on general principle. This Christmas, I decided to outfit her in as many warm things as I could think of, for her comfort and mine (she gets crabby when she's cold). Mom doesn't generally use new things for at least a couple of weeks after she gets them but she used these on Christmas evening and has used them every day since. She says they warm her hands very quickly and they help immensely when her Reynaud's is acting up. She uses them so much she kept losing them because she'd put them down in different rooms and forget where they were. So I bought her another set in a different color. The best part is she hasn't gotten crabby from cold hands even once this whole winter and we've had some very cold days. That's worth any price. 10/10. ... show more

  • Liked these pretty well.
Color: Black
Bought them first Jan 2022 and they are just now starting to slow down a bit. I use them ALL the time. Even in summer to charge my insulin pump. They are always with me so I can attest they have been used. Averaged about $10/year. Id say I got a good deal out of them. Just wish I could extend their life. ... show more
