I put a Yeti on this. Needed a low stand that was compact and quick to adjust, but.... even though I added a counterweight, it's shaky. I think the other reviewer(s) who said the boom is weak are correct--both the boom arm itself (should be heavier), and the adjustment points/knobs, which seem to be the major weakness. It's wobbly at the arm attachment point and no amount of tightening is fixing that. I'm keeping it bc it is an ancillary stand, fits in a tight space and one leg is going under a table bar anyway. It's not going anywhere. But for those who want a dependable, freestanding mic stand.... keep looking IMO. ... show more

Needed a floor standing replacement for my Shure SM7B and this works perfectly! Took a few minutes to figure out the counter balance so the top rod would stay straight, but honestly it's such an improvement for my set up!

    • OK stand but the case is a joke.
The stand will probably work ok but my main reason for buying it was the soft gig case that is included. It is a joke. It is so small that the only way to use it is to take the stand completely apart every time you want to use it. That is insane.
