This mic comes in several pieces, which have to be screwed into eachother (twisted), and once together essentially the slightest movements loosens the whole system. If you really tighten each piece then under light to light-moderate conditions it will probably hold up, but just barely. Definately not for any type of heavy use or pro use - but for the money I suppose its good value. ... show more

Works perfectly and is of excellent quality. Very sturdy and the parts are well made. The included holder fits the Shure SM58 microphone perfectly.

    • Good price, portable, but flimsy
I bought this as a mic stand for my kids to pair with a Shure MV series mic. It works, it’s lightweight and easily portable. With that lightweight portability comes some flimsiness. I wouldn’t want this for gigging at all. At all. But for a portable home studio use, it works fine.
