Features

  • Free Position Mic Arm: This professional microphone stand is fully adjustable in all parts with 360 base rotation for 135 back and forth extension, 180 arm shaft for up-and-down movement, and 270 metal adapter to freely position microphones. It can be easily folded and pushed away for space-saving storage when it stands idle and pull it back for usage.

  • Solid & Heavy-duty: High-quality steel material with super-strong springs and extra positioning hole ensures an excellent load-bearing capacity of 3.3lb/1.5kg, compared to others of 2.2lb/1.0kg. InnoGear boom stand provides effortless and silent microphone positioning, which is vital in live recording situations.
  • Desk Edge Compatibility: The desk clamp is specifically designed to securely grip squared edges up to 2 inches in thickness; please ensure your desk edge is flat and not slanted or curved for optimal functionality.
  • Microphone Compatibility: This microphone arm stand allows diversity and compatibility, for it comes with a standard microphone clip to fit for dynamic microphones like Shure SM58, Samson Q2U, Shure PGA48 and more, and a 5/8" to 3/8" adapter for Blue Yeti, Blue Snowball, Blue Snowball iCE, Hyper X QuadCast, SoloCast, Shure SM7B, MV7, Fifine AmpliGame, Fifine K669B (Shock mount not included), Fifine AM8, etc.

  • Versatile, flexible, and sturdy
Size: Medium Color: Black
I really appreciate the lengths the manufacturer went to ensure that the boom mic stand will work. For instance, some Blue Yeti microphones may be slightly larger than the threading. So to combat this, they provide PTFE thread tape to help fill the gap. They also provide a dynamic mic holder if your microphone is not going to directly mount to the mic stand. They provide a thread adapter for 3/8" to 5/8" depending on what your microphone may need. They also provide Velcro (hook and loop) cable ties to help keep things tidy. They really go above and beyond to make sure that you have everything you need, all while being very budget friendly. Highly recommend. ... show more

  • Excellent Microphone Stand
Size: Large Color: Black
This microphone arm is simply perfect. It’s sturdy, easy to adjust, and stays firmly in the position I need. I love its design, which is not only functional but also looks very professional on my desk. Installation was simple, and the material quality is evident. It works flawlessly with my HyperX QuadCast S microphone and doesn’t make any annoying noises when moved. Highly recommended! ... show more

  • Good stand but a bit loose in the swivel
Size: Medium Color: Black
Nice range to it. Love the different options for the mic mount, nice and sturdy and keeps you mic in place while being easy to move. Only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the table mount. It grips onto the table fine, only slipped off once (probably my fault lol) but the connection between the clamp and the right where it swivels is loose. Swivels side to side nicely, the problem is it also rocks back and forth. When ypu adjust your mic up you have to go a little farther up to account for that. And the swivel lock screw is too short and does not wor at all😅 ... show more

  • This cheap arm will hold up your mic just fine
Size: Medium Color: Black
I've been using it for over a year and it held up fine. It may not be as sturdy as one that costs 10 times, but it stayed affixed to my desk and all joints are still working. The joints have some play and elasticity though. So, if you need precise positioning, you may want to opt for more expensive one. ... show more

  • Pretty Good - 3 year review
Size: Medium Color: Black
Hi! Ive had this mic arm for 3 years now (insane) and it holds up pretty well! It got a little squeaky if you adjusted it i would say after a year maybe. But its really good for the price. I never realized i never left a review but im finally back to look for a new mic arm after year 3 as it has started to not grip my desk very well and it falls off. Not sure if that’s because i got a new desk that is glossy though, so be careful if you have an Ikea desk like me! If you desk is wood and has some of that wood grain it works really well since the clamp will have something to grip. Overall its pretty light in terms of weight and once you mess around with the knobs its stiffness doesn’t really move. This worked really well for my hyper x quad cast! Would recommend! ... show more

  • Great price, but small and short. NOT a professional mic boom/arm.
Size: Medium Color: Black
This review is for the verbosely named: "InnoGear Microphone Arm, Upgraded Mic Arm Microphone Stand Boom Suspension Stand". Say that three times fast! :-) CRED: I have been in the Radio/TV broadcast industry for 30+ years, so I have worked with many types and brands of mic booms, microphones and audio equipment in general. PROS: It's cheap! I paid $13.50 for this boom which is a crazy low price for what you get. It comes with a decent desk clamp, the pre-assembled arm, a generic mic clip (which is basically worthless) and an essential, chrome metal adapter for real microphones. Given how small and light it is, I wasn't expecting it to hold my heavy Shure Super 55, but it did with no issue. CONS: The first thing you should know, is that this boom is SMALL..the pictures are deceiving. It's a "Baby Boom" as we say in the business. A standard, microphone boom arm that you might get from Broadcast Supply (BSW) is going to give you 40" of reach, bare minimum...most are 45" or more and cost anywhere from $50-$350 depending on brand. The reach on this mic boom is a short 28" from base to mount. Why are the others so big? The whole idea of a mic boom is to keep everything away from the action and clear up desk space. Away from your hands, your monitors, etc. Generally you mount the boom arm in the rear corner of the desk and it reaches up and over your monitors from behind. Since the reach on this mic boom is only 28", unless you have a very small desk you are going to have to clamp the stand on the front edge of your desk, close to you. This kind of defeats the whole purpose of having a mic boom in the first place. The microphone clip that comes with it is the basic, generic clip type, only good for a standard "stick" type mic like a classic EV-635A or Shure SM57. If you are using a popular SM58 or larger you will want to use the clip that came with the mic, not this one. A bonus is that the included clip came with a second, black plastic tread adapter already screwed in. It was easily removable, so score! A second free adapter. The really strange thing, is that inside the box I found a full 10 meter roll of PTFE Teflon Tape. The kind you use on plumbing threads to ensure they don't leak. There is no mention of this on Amazon or on the box itself, so I am not sure if it was intentional, an Amazon mistake or I got a return from a singing plumber. It wasn't needed for any of the mic boom threads, so I will use it next time I do some plumbing around the house. SUMMARY: If you are a home user with a limited budget, you cant go wrong with this boom arm. The price is incredible and it appears decently made. If you have a small work space it might work fine as long as you don't mind its very limited reach. If you are looking for a professional, broadcast quality microphone boom like you might see in a radio station control room, look elsewhere. This isn't it. ... show more

  • Value for price
Size: Large Color: Black
I use a blue yeti white snowball, and this works just perfect for holding it down to my desk. I understand that there are certainly better quality mic arms, that could do more, but for my needs of not having my microphone in the way of the things I am using 100% of the time, it works wonders. If this was more expensive, I might have apprehensions, but given the cost, you really can't go wrong with this, if your microphone is light enough for the arm to hold without falling. ... show more

  • Great, inexpensive, functional!
Size: Medium Color: Black
Assembly was a breeze, and it mounts very well, just ensure you tighten it down good, some movement can cause it to come loose at the clamp if it's not secured well. The articulation is great, it's easy to use, and can be adjusted a number of ways. Stowing the microphone when not in use is essential, and this does it well. Would highly recommend for anyone with a need to easily desk mount a microphone. Works great with my HyperX Quad cast mic. ... show more
