These mats are perfect for my use with a home gym. Like many people across the country due to covid, I've decided to cancel my gym membership and start working out at home. These mats are great. Good price, Light weight, easy to clean and Very easy to assemble. Which is great if you need to transport them or reconfigure your equipment. Now, do understand that these are not super thick heavy duty rubber mats that may be in some big gyms. You still need to take caution when dealing with heavy weights. Dropping a 50lb iron dumbbell from standing position may still damage your concrete or tile floor but should protect from lighter weights/lower drops. And they definitely prevent scuffing or scratching. They also feel nice if you like to workout bare foot or to do yoga or stretches. Assembly took less than 5 minutes. I did encounter the strange edges that would not meet up like some reviewers said but if you pay attention, you will notice some of the edgy pieces are different shaped and you just need to swap those around until you get the perfect fit. Being that they are lightweight they do wiggle around just a little bit but only towards the ends where I don't have weights/equipment on them and so far no pieces have separated from another. Nor have I noticed any rips or tears and I use non-coated iron weights on them. No need to worry about sweating heavily or possibly spilling liquid on them either as they are easily cleaned. Overall I am very satisfied with these mats and plan to buy another set or two when my home gym expands more.

I purchased these a year ago for my home kettlebell workouts. They are functional enough. However... the negatives are: 1) they dont hold shape very well with weight in one place for a period of time. The longer weight (or the ends of a chair) are on the flooring they will be dented indefinitely. 2) staining: if an oil based substance (food or other product) gets on the surface, it will leave a permanent discoloration. - not cool for content vids. 3) Should you drop weight, it will barely protect the floor underneath. 4) collects dirt easily due to static. suggestion: no shoes if possible. Good points. 1) great for basic home gym, not recommended for professional training unless under tight budget or not working with high traffic 2) easy to assemble 3) can be cleaned with a light/damp mop (Swiffer is good) 3) an option for a childrens play surface. Its soft and will cushion falls. Can use Lysol (lightly) to disinfect surface) Overall: Good work out flooring on a budge. It does take impression damage easily from stationary weight. 4 out of 5 due to sustainability and impression damage from stationary weight (dont use chairs on surface)

Great item. Tiles themselves are good quality and decent thickness. Was just looking for something to help my basement “gym” be a bit more functional and inspiring. Weights can be set down without worry and now any seated exercise is far more comfortable. I thought I ordered all black tiles but got the gray/black combo instead. Must have not reset the pull down menu. Kind of glad. I decided on orienting them in rows with opposite color as the border and it looks great. Cost was super reasonable and shipping was quick. Excellent for any home gym.

Hi, Everyone: I was not paid in any way for this review. My review is based solely on my experience with the product. This product worked for me. I bought it to use as a subfloor for the side tent to my little teardrop trailer as protection for the tent floor. I have used it only once on a 4-day campling trip to Guadalupe River State Park in Texas. I started with a 5' X 7' tarp, laid the mats on top, and put the 5' X 7' tent on top of the mats. The mat layer protected the tent floor from the rocks and wood debris around the campsite and made a sturdy, comfortable floor for the tent. I use the tent as a dressing and port-a-potty (Thetford Curve) area. Since I have used the mats only once, I have not commented on the product's durablility. I hope you find this review helpful!

I love it! I got the 12piece floor mat. We are turning our third room into a work out room. I did it all alone super easy to put together. I love the sturdiness & quality to it. Pretty thick and durable. Does not slide. I definitely recommend if your looking for floor mats say for working out or even if you have kids these are great if you have tile or wood floor.

So I have a serious home gym and just moved into a new home. Decided to buy some gym flooring vs using the 5mm rubber mats I have. Once I set it all up, which it all connected with great ease, it looked great. The only issue I had with from opening to being put down, was the fact it feels soft... like toooooooo soft. Got all the gym equipment moved back into the room and set up. It looked great. But.... 4 days after using the gym with the new tiles, the tiles started to come apart at the connection points. They were spreading and no matter what I did, they kept growing apart. I placed some 3mm (vs the 5mm I have) over the tiles and then the equipment on top of that. The tiles seemed to stay in place where the 3mm mat was. So, moving forward, YES I WOULD RECOMMEND this product, but ONLY if you use it as a base for something else to be placed over top, such as wood planks or rubber mats. NO I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this product to be used in any other way. As for me, I am fine with it in the way I have it set up (under the rubber mats) due to the weight of my workout equipment and the amount of heavy weights get thrown around. I would buy them again due to cost for using as an underlying product as they are pretty good for that. But they are to squishy for direct use in any other manner.
