I had a very old but very nice rug at the door that comes in from our garage. Unfortunately it didn't have a nonskid backing, and sat right by my 93-year-old grandma's door. So, I was looking for a replacement that would work in that space. I ordered this one because I liked the pattern and colors, and thought a washable rug would be good since we go in and out that door quite often and the rug will get dirty. I don't know how well this will actually wash--I feel like the backing could start to come apart if it's washed often--but I personally won't be washing it all that much. The pattern will hide a lot, and it should be easy to spot-clean if necessary. The rug is quite pretty. The colors are bright and true to the pictures shown in the listing. This rug is much thinner than our old one, but for now that's actually good thing as it's less likely to trip my grandma. And the nonskid backing keeps it in place pretty well. It's not furry, not like a carpet, so again that makes it a bit easier to clean, in my view. I would definitely recommend this as a rug for near a door or maybe under a table. I wouldn't use this as a soft area rug in the center of a room. It's probably best for a high-traffic area, as opposed to one you may want to sit down on. ... show more

I ordered this rug for my kitchen. As soon as I saw it, I knew I had to have it, even though I didn't need a new kitchen rug. (I have several in rotation). I love the design of distressed rugs. I have a small, dark galley kitchen with accents of turquoise, so I thought this rug would liven things up. And it sure does! This type of pattern is so much more stylish & sophisticated than a traditional kitchen mat. It seems to be nicely made with the pattern printed on. It is a very thin rug, which I appreciate, so I don't trip on it. The rug arrived without any wrinkles & was flat when I put it down, right from the start. It is very, very soft. In fact if you have any pets, they just might take it over! :) And best of all, it had no odor as so many rugs do. It is washable, a great feature! I usually sweep it clean most days & once in awhile, I'll run my light vacuum cleaner over it. And it looks great! It has a very good non-slip backing which is very important in a kitchen or bathroom. For the most part, the rug stays put. I might have to straighten it out a little maybe once a week or so. - It's a nice-looking rug & has great features for a low price. - If you like the style & color it comes in, you should love this rug. - 5 stars - recommend! ... show more

Laid flat right out of the box with mild creasing. Print is beautiful and distressed and it’s SO. SOFT. Using it as an entryway rug so love that it’s washable but it’s also easy to maintain with a hand vacuum in the interim.

And it is for the same reasons: I find the colors beautiful, similar to washed out jeans and very pretty shades, and this blue one I got seemed the stronger in color schemes over the other choices in colors, but it's apparent these have a washed-out look. Well my mother dislikes it, she thinks it is a defect that the colors are faded, but she hadn't seen the other choices also having washed out tones. Even so, washed out or not, I personally find the rug beautiful color schemes, however, my mother spent years as a painter, and her palate for colors so to say wants stronger contrasts. I have forbidden her to discard the rug as I will take it for myself - yes, forbid as she was stating her plans how she was going to demote it from living room display to the front door, the same door where my elder father throws out all rugs put there - when a 94 yr old states that, you have to speak quick and firm, as 2nd chances don't come when something doesn't sit well with the old folks! This is a situation where beauty is definitely in the eye of the beholder, but the blue schemes went well with our living room - I say went well because now it is going to be in my bedroom, under lock and key, where I alone can enjoy its pretty hues. ;o) ... show more

The instant I opened this rug, I was in love. It is incredibly soft and feels wonderful underneath my feet. The colors are blended and have soft hues. It looks classy and expensive, yet it is affordable. The backside is staying put and has good grip. It was folded in the package, but the creases have quickly worked themselves out. I really like the convenience of these washable rugs, and they look nicer than I expected! I put one inside my front door, and liked it so much that I ordered one for each of the other doors. They are remarkably compact and easy to fit in a washing machine. The distressed pattern looks a little odd at first, but helps hide dirt and wear. Protects the carpets or floors below, or covers stains from past wear and tear. My entry tile is 65 years old, and it will never look fully clean. Very Soft, muted colored area rug. It says washable on the description, but the tag clearly states not for multiple washings, and to hang dry. That's fine for me. Although it says pink, it really isn't an overwhelming pink I would say more Beige-ish. Perfect for the deck door entry into our living room. Definitely a keeper! ... show more
