However, the picture made it look like multi faceted etched glass but when I saw the actual fixture, the glass globe seemed like a cheap glass mold. Super cute light fixture! easy install and comes with basic instructions (i had to do some googling to make up for the lack of details in the instructions) I previously had a fluorescent light in my kitchen, when the bulbs went out I went to replace them and saw that they were burning my ceiling, so I said screw it and decided to try to install a new fixture. This one worked out GREAT! I installed it myself with little to no hassle by following the provided instructions after using google to figure out how to uninstall the previous light!
