I have been pretty much home bound for the past few years and just recently gotten to the point where I can start going out and about again. I had a recent trip where I was going to stay with a couple of my kids and would be home alone during the day while they were at work and needed to take my gal with me so I bought this vest for her so the apartment and anyone else that would see me while I would be out in public would know that she was not just a regular pet (housing units have to allow service dogs vs pets same with stores). She has never worn a service vest before because we haven’t had the need for one because of me being home bound, but she took to it really quick! The vest for her has just become another extension of her whenever we go out and she needs to wear it. She enjoys it so much that as soon as I ask her if she wants to go to work and she sees me grab it she gets excited, jumps on my bed, and will sit and wait patiently for me to put her vest on! In fact I may end up having to order a second vest just because our German Shepherd understands what the vest is and she now wants one as well! lol! I ordered her a medium as she was right on the fine line measurement wise between a small and a medium and I felt it was better to be safer than sorry. It’s taken in as small as it’ll go and fits her just fine! I love the vest and all the multipurpose’s it can serve. I ended up even ordering saddle bags for it so if we decide to go out for an extended period of time for the day, just her and I, she can help carry extra items for me such as my meds and such. The grab bar seems pretty sturdy and well added. I can see if I got a second and larger vest for my GSD being able to use it to help pull myself up when I need the extra hand. I also love that these came with cards as well explaining our rights when it comes to having service animals. Luckily I’ve never ran into any issues yet with anyone asking but I can see where they would most definitely come in handy and helpful in possibly some of those moments if they were ever to arise!!

I really like this vest a lot more than the other one I had! It seems more secure and comfortable by far. The largest size fits my Great Dane Service Dog well, with the adjustable straps making that possible. I love that little foldable ADA cards were included! I just wish this jacket had one or two zippered pockets for the cards and/or other paperwork, keys, tags not on collar, etc. The price was very reasonable for the quality of the jacket. I definitely recommend this product.

Super easy to put on and take off. You might think that a harness with only one clip wouldn't hold them in very well, but it does the job better than any other I've ever seen. Very durable, very sharp and professional look, heavy duty steel ring that is strong enough to lift my Dizzy by if need be. You won't find a better harness anywhere. Even if yours isn't a service dog, the patches are velcro removable and this is still the best harness out there, and for a bargain basement price!
