This good looking ceiling light took 1 hour to install. That amount of time seems about right for this type of easy install ceiling light. The instructions were clear and had a diagram to visually explain the installation process. I really like how the direction of the lights can be changed to taste. If you have a TV or computer screen in the room, then you can adjust the lighting to reduce glare from the bulbs. The light was perfect for our needs. We put it in the laundry/ office. Having the flexibility to direct the lighting to different spots in the room is helpful. Plus the mix of the black and the wood trim matches some other features we have in the room.

Looks great in the area I placed it. Only downside is when you turn the individual lights to darker areas they loosen a bit and if you move to much they become looser. But overall very nice fixture.
