There were no instructions on how to assemble this fountain. The LED mister was easy to figure out as there was an indent where it could fit, but the pump was difficult to fit in the back and then attach the tube. None of the two power cords had a switch to turn on/off so you have to unplug every time. You need to pour in just the right amount of water to cover the mist maker, but too much water and it leaks down the sides. And the packaging was terrible! The styrofoam packaging was the type that shreds all these little beads all over the place and static makes them stick to everything around. I am an engineer and product designer and this item is not worth the money. Maybe at half the cost, and with good instructions it could be acceptable. A total rip off. The top right side has a round depression like something should go there but nothing else is included. The green "plants" are very cheap plastic that arrived all squashed and not at all close to looking realistic and pleasing. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Fountain looks nice for the price. However, the pump is extremely loud. It cancels out the sounds produced from the falling water. Water is only falling an inch or less. I'm thinking I need a fountain with larger "falls" and definitely a quieter pump. Three stars would be ok and I just can't give them due to the pump alone. PS I am very attentive and have really good hearing. Perhaps it will not bother you. UPDATE: I didn't realize the water in the fountain could evaporate do quickly (1 day). After I noticed and refilled it the finish was much quieter. Changing from 2 stars to 4!

Absolute piece of garbage. Pieces of it chipped off when simply handling it. The motor broke just after having it a month. It splashes water all over the place.

No directions on putting it together, I fiddled with it til I figured it out. Couple of things I don't like: the fact that plastic plants are used, the kind that you put in aquariums. Not a huge deal, I'm probably going to try to replace some of the plastic with some sort of material that looks a bit more natural. The paint used seems to come off easily, I've had to dig out some floating bits of paint here and there. And the other thing is that you need to be careful where you place it, and how you've got the LED light / mist-maker thing sitting inside the bottom of the fountain. If it isn't in a good place, it'll just spray water everywhere, and the mist also creates water droplets that build up around the place that you've set the fountain. I wanted it on my computer desk hutch, so I usually keep the fountain on, but the mist-maker off, so I get the nice water droplet sounds without the mist condensing all over the desk. Overall, I think it's a nice little sculpture that I hopefully can improve a little, and make even better. I'm pretty satisfied with it.

The media could not be loaded. The noise is nice and peaceful. The lighting is cool and changes. A lot of moisture does collect on the table in front of it. So countertops will work better with wood or a shelf.

The first of this product that I received was broken (water wheel axel was snapped), was missing the lights and the pump itself. I returned it for another one which had all of the pieces in tact. However, after using it a few times, I noticed a trend: when the water level was high enough that the pump was quite, water would splash out of the fountain. Once enough water splashed out that it stopped splashing, the pump would make noise. This is something I intended to leave running consistently but so much water splashes out that it's not feasible. In regards to set up, for me, it came in an unsealed box (both times) and the Styrofoam protecting the fountain is so weak that it breaks significantly as you try to pull it out of the box. Installing the lights under the waterfall took a few tries but not bad. Installing the pump was fairly easy too. When holding/interacting with the fountain in general you have to be pretty careful because the little plants on the front are just hot glued on and aren't very stable (at least in my experience). Regarding the appearance, I generally really like it. I chose this fountain after some research because I liked the vibrant colors and variety of features (waterfall, lights, cascading rocks, water wheel, etc.). Overall, a pretty fountain that looks nice but makes noise (or splashes water) and is fairly cheaply built. For me personally it was not worth it for the price and I'll be returning it.
